Good news to hear that you've had the car returned!! I kmow that it's really fustrating with the damage that has been done, but atleast you've had a back together. Could have been stripped or even worse torched. In regards to the locks not being tampered with. About 15 years ago my grandfarther had his mk2 Golf broken onto. There was no damage to the locks at first loock, until the forensic guy came out. He pointed out that the way the car had been opened was by the pikeys putting a screwdriver underneath the handle and pushing it upwards. Take a look under the hadle to check if there are any marks.

Would be intrested in grill with eyebrow spoiler attached (reiger style) and the end bits for the wing mirrors. Some interior bits would be cool as well though eg door cards, pillars and maybe gauge pods??

And another vote for JMR. Top guy, I had pm'd John previusoly just enquiring for price etc, then out of the blue my standard zorst decided to give up on me. About 2 phone calls later I was the proud owner of a Miltek. I also bought a down pipe off him for my 9a and the quality of it was superb.

I went for red, I think it stands out a bit more than any of the other colours mentioned.

Do you know of any good companys for getting headwork done?

Has anybody fitted Schrick Cams to their 2.0 16v on here? If so what was your overall impression of them? I currently have a KR cam fitted but am looking for somemore power!

I know what you mean. So far the only local garage I can find who said that they are willing to look at the sunroof is VW dealers, I know it will cost me a small fortune if I end up having them to do it!

No not the gasket the injectors might be hard work to remove

I want to change my inlet manifold from the standard 42mm to the bigger 50mm on my 2.0 16v. Is it a straight forward swap or do i need anything else? I will be changing the throttle body to a 1.8 16v one which has been ported and gasflowed Cheers Rhodri

I would recomend the Miltek/JMR big bore system with a de cat. I was well impressed with mine to say the least. Gotta get the manifold done next and the gasflowed tb I bought off a bout a year ago! I am also thinking of getting some head work done and getting a diferent cam (already got a KR in my 9a), need a bit more go in her.

I am thinking of purchasing a set of Borbert t wheels that are 9x16 all round. Would these look alright or am i better off going for the 7.5/9x16 option?

I am in Bridgend. What i need doing is( i think) having the sunroof taken out and having the runners replaced and greased and replaced. Also I need a bump on the drivers side wing done, front bumper resprayed and the passenger wing sprayed.

My sunroof is knackerd and I need to find a body shop to help me out been to 2 but they wont touch it they suggested that i go to main dealers! Does anybody know of any reputable body shops in south wales ? Cheers Rhodri
