Ok, I know there is loads of posts on this but none are helping me. I changed me stereo when i got the car nearly a year ago and since then my spoiler doesnt work. It works with the switch but not speed. Ive made sure the b/w wire is not conected to anything and still no joy, where am I going wrong? Does anyone have a wiring diagram? My car is in the body shop this week correcting all the dints some ar***oles have put init over the last twelve months and I would really like to get the spoiler working, just to finish it off. Or if there is someone in the Anglesey area that knows what they are talking about or wheres the best place to take it. Cheers for any help. Emma

I tried them you said and a couple in Bethesda and Bangor and one in Caernarfon. In the end Barton and Nicholas in Llangefni recommended Chandler in the council estate in Llangefni hes the one thats gave me the quote. But Im still searching for the part, without paying over £500.

WOW!!!!! Its a back ally job thats why its so cheap, but it is good, hes going to repair it as if it was a rusty arch as Phil has said above!!. The fella doesnt want a whole quater pannel just a repair arch, but when I went to the main dealer they said they can only supply quater pannels, so I refered to the trustee forum, as I had a feeling they were fibbing to me. Also Im afraid Im still stuck in the dark ages as I have no digital camera or scanner therefore unless your around sunny anglesey you can not see the dent, sorry!!!! So does anyone know where I can get one?

The scratch is so deep there is no chance of hitting it out. I went to a few places and noone said it was possible to bang it out. The quote Ive had is £275, exept I have to supply the part. So what did you have in mind that you can help me out? Have you a stash of body parts?

Some nice person has hit my passenger rear arch, and just drove off, Ive got a quote for the bodywork and that wasnt to bad but I have to supply the parts. I went to my main dealer and the fella there said that they only supply rear quater pannels for £527.12 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's only the curve on the arch that is damaged does anyone know where I can get a repair arch? Are they available? Are they worth getting second hand? Any info would be great Thanks Emma

Can someone tell me if I should stop worrying? When I drive round a sharp bend (it has to be quite sharp), left or right something beeps??? It seems to come from the dash area, no warning lights come on and the performance doesnt seem to change? Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem? Edited title to make it a bit more relevant than just "help!!!" VR6

I hate people that take the p**s because your a woman !!!!!!! My local scrappy said they had a handle, but when I went to pick it up the sodding thing was broke and the fella stood there saying it wasnt aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!! Still looking though if I cant find one by pay day I suppose I will have to pay for a new one.

My drivers side extirior door hadle has broke. Ive just got a quote off the main dealer and nearly died, £85!!!!!!! Does anyone know where I can get one cheaper or am I going to have to pay this much, because I look a bit of a pleb crawlling in through the passenger side!!!

Henny helped me when I also had the same problem a while ago, the oil was leaking through the damaged rocker cover gasget. Now I have renewed it all fine, but saying that mine had no trouble starting.

Ive got all the parts, discs pads etc and I am quite confident that I can do that bit, but the wheel bearing is another story. All it is is there is a hmmmmmmm coming from the passenger side rear wheel and have been told by the garage that it is the bearing, when they told me how much it would be I decided to have a go myself!! Expect another post after the weekend when it all goes horribly wrong. Cheers for the helpful hints fellas!!!!! Emma P.S Ive been trying to replace my HT leads but the ones that are on the car have got a sensor attatched to lead No 3, is this normal??? Anyone know any good sites to get new ones, the main deales by me says 3 - 4 weeks for delivery, what can I say I'm unpatient.

Hi All, Has anyone got any tips on how to change a rear wheel bearing? Looked on the how-to-guides and found nothing. Do I need any spaciel tools? Any help will be great, cheers.

It gradually goes down slowly and after about 30 - 40 miles its on empty and stays there. Considering my tank takes £50 - 60 of petrol I refused to belive it was empty. Ok then I will try to look at the sensor, but where is it ? Is it under the back seat or am I miles off? Thanks for the help guys much appriciated. Emma

Ok I'm finally fed up of running out of petrol !!!! My petrol gauge doesnt work, when the tank is full the gauge says its full, but after about 30 miles is says its empty. Has anyone had the same problem, do you think its a lose wire or faulty sensor ???? Any help will be great, thanks!

Ok now I did what you said and I found two blue wires with white stripes one was connected to something and the other had insulation tape round the end of it ( I definately did not do that), so I disconnected the other and just left it lose, but it still isnt working. Do you think the "insulation tape" wire has gone wrong futher down the line or should I just take it to the pros' Thanks very much for the help.

I fitted a new stereo a few weeks ago and since then my active spioler doesnt work! It works manually but the active part is no longer true. Ive read another person with the simmilar problem and someone suggested looking at a blue wire behind the ICE, where the hell is that???? Do you think Ive buggered it up by fitting the radio myself? Am I in the right place for a blue wire?? Help will be very much appriciated. Emma

Sorry been so long, I have now changed the rocker cover gasget and the problem has now been sorted cheers fellas.

I got mine when I thought it was quite rare!!! This weekend alone I have seen loads, Silver with a foreign plate, nice yellow one, J reg blue, L reg green, 2 burgendy, lovely black one and a few more!!!! They are haunting me in Anglesey!!!

There was so much it came up to the electrodes on two of them, but only covered the threads on the other two. I have a bit of an oil leak as well so I gave it a new fillter and replaced the washer on the sump bolt thingy but its still leaking????

Im just getting in to my mechanics so I need all the help I can get! I was changing my spark plugs at the weekend and they were sitting in oil, what does this mean? Is it just the gasget that needs replacing or is it more serious??? :?
