Wishbones with bushes already in them Stearing track rod ends Ball joints Antiroll bar drop links * Already got new top mounts already in the car when i fitted the coilovers.* Discs and pads all round Rear wheel bearings Front engine mount 4 New Toyo tyres Oil and Filter New Plugs Tracking will be done Anything else before i send my car in to be fitted with all this?

Ive found these wishbones on gsf.. 42219B WISHBONE-FRONT LH+ BUSHES CO VR6 37.90 42219E WISHBONE-FRONT RH+ BUSHES CO VR6 37.90 They'll be ok wont they? and a new front engine mount i think, can that be changed without removing the engine? 10146E ENGINE MOUNTING-FRONT CO VR6 8/91 > 26.50

I thought the roof is meant to keep some of it's shape and protect the drivers head?? (sorry if its a repost...) now i look at it, unless it was being carried on that trailer and that flipped ontop of it???

indeed i do! I have RAC cover, but not home start, so i had to upgrade at the price of £56 for the RAC man to come and find my silly mistake! Funnily enough, it was the same guy who come to my recuse for my 2ltr 16v corrado 3 years ago! As it took him 5 mins to find the stupid pipe not attatched we had a chat for half an hour and he's got a caterham 7 that he's built and reall into his cars. Very nice chap!

its ok, ive sorted it, well the RAC man sorted it. Whilst cleaning it all, i had pulled one of the pipes off that goes onto the throttle body. silly me!

I took my MAf out to clean it as my car was stalling alot at lights and i took my ISV out and cleaned that and put it back together and now the engine sounds like its running on less then 6 cylinders and splutters. Now when i start the engine it revs up and dies stright back down and cuts out. If i apply revs and turn the engine on it splutters and sounds like a dragster and the exhaust pops near the manifold. I also have low fuel (onto the red) and im parked on a sight hill facing downwards, can low fuel cause the engine to act like this? Thanks for your help.

i do have some ply wood, i thought if i totally cover it, the wind might shoot down the side of the house and shake it to peices! so i've decided to leave it with holes in. It doesnt 100% hide it, but doesnt make it as obviouse aswell.

Not actualy done anything to my car, apart from drive it to get some wood screws but i have been doing something for 4 hours today FOR my car, to make it a little less accessable and hidden...and it was reet hot and sunny so i thought why not! Built a Gate for my drive so the car isn't as obvious from walking past... One very open drive.. One lot of timber, An old breeze block pallet... and one gate (sorry about the dark crappy pics, ill replace them 2morow with daylight ones, i had to go to work and take pics when i got home from work at 9.30pm) Finished it now :) It may seem sad but i've never built anything like this before and free styled it totally, not a bad result, the whole aim was to hide my car a little.

id like to see them as i need to clean a mk2 golf gti interior and would like to see how yours came out, you recon a carpet cleaner in the best thing to use?

is it the seal at the front of the bonnet or near the windscreen? and how much was it?

at gentle driving and gentle acceleration no smoke, and it doesnt smoke if u gradually accelerate to 4k+revs, just on the sudden hard push of the peddle.

well i checked the oil before ie went out and it was about 1-2mm below half on the dip stick, i left the car overnight, checked oil today and it was just below minimum. I have no idea how much oil that is. Been for a drive today and if im stationary and i rev quickly, blue smoke comes out, and also if i boot it suddenly, should i be worried? Its a vr6, with 100k on the clock.

ive been thinking of this as i think i need a top end rebuild, (blue smoke coming out of exhaust). can anyone give me any ideas how much a top end rebuild has or might cost me? I mean, would it be £500 or more towards £1000? I would be trying to do as much work as possible myself so labour shouldnt be a huge problem. Its just the parts and chains and stuff (not entirly sure what needs replacing)

i took my car for a real hard run today and think mine might be doing the same, is it really not worth rebuilding the 12v vr6??

fitted my foliage cover seal yesterday as it was letting in water all over the ABS ECU, managed to gash my finger open too! and now today...its raining!

how much did yours cost to get done? i want mine all re-done.

yeah donny was ok, show wsnt as good as last year tho. and very snowy!!!! the place is chatsworths house in derbyshire, 10 mins from where i live.

Picked up my new door locking pins for £2.30 each from VW and fitted them, not the door doesnt chlunk loudly any more!

well i got white electrical tape and taped them all up as i was spraying it all anyway, so they are now alpine white. the two wires that go to your ABS sensors, i unplugged them and re-routed them to the left in that picture, i tucked the rear speaker wires under the carpet behind the seats. i would of liked to put the wires in the gapin the pannels betwen the body and the inner car, but that would of meant unplugging everything and i couldnt be bothered. I got the strut brace for £70 delivered off a guy n ED38. Its great, easy to install. not sure about the handling yet, need new tyres so i can give it a good run. heres some more pics so you can see what i did with the wires.. and the strut..

i hope you havent been unfortunate to have what i had, AS can lead to eye problems, iritis, i had it once, i went to hospital, they gave me drops, week later and it wasnt any better, so i went back, and they said 'right we're going to have to give you a stronger dosage' so i was like, cool, double the amount of times i put the drops in my eye, oooooh no, they sat me in a chair, tilted my head back, and gave me an injection....IN MY EYE BALL! Its the freakiest thing ive ever had done, and i couldnt close my eye to not look at it!
