ah ye, the vapours, i did connect it all up and leave it to dry for few hours. that could be it! opps! whats that part called as i need a new one now!

well i took my whole inlet piping off to clean it, cleaned the MAF, throttle body with carb cleaner and cleaned the ISV in petrol, just went to start the car up and BANG! This blew up! There was a very strong strong smell of burning, like a match just been lit after the bang. Ive put the little cup thing back on the unit i can see and the suction from the ISV is keeping it on and the car is running fine. What could of caused this? Im thinking maybe the carb cleaner in the inlet pipe, the petrol in the ISV?

how would i disconnect the ABS? I had a look at my rear breaks today and on the disc of the side where i have the abs problem you can every so slightly hear the disc catching the pad as it spins round, and there is a print of the pad where my hand brake as been on, maybe a warped disc? could this be the problem of my shaking?

i do have a problem that sometime the rear thinks the abs is kicking and locks up one of the tyres? could this be helping the problem?

when i drive at around 20mph+ i notice a droning coming from the rear of my car, and also, when going 50mph+ the car shakes, like a wheel is wobbling (all nuts are done up), you can feel the car shaking side to side and the vibrations.. I've just had replaced... Wishbones Track rod ends Bottom Ball joints All four wheel bearings Front engine mount Front and Rear brake discs and pads 4 new toyo tyres (just done 1000 miles) I think its coming from the back more then the front, on my last MOT, 2 months ago, i did get a recomendation that my rear beam bushes were on way out, could this be causing the droning and cause of wobbling?? I'm quite worried. Neil

i turned this nasty cone filter crappy thing....... into this nice factory looking bay....

just spent £50 on two wheel barings and an air filter... cars going in on monday to have the barings fitted. cars broken at the mo. Its a never ending money pit!

is this correct, anything else i should know... Bottom ball joint Track rod end / steering ball joint Brake caliper Drive shaft nut Two strut bolts what do i do about the ABS or anything?

i've noticed a hum coming from my front over the past week, and i went down to ED38 this weekend and i had terrible vibrations in the cabin of the car and an aful sound of humming and sqeeling, im booking my car in asap.

a little update, added something to my car, which i think makes it look alot better... . . . . . . . . . . . . .

some people came round to look at the flat i was renting, i they were talking to the landlord i pulled out of the drive as i was going out, they saw my car, and said, 'nice car! lovely!, does it come with the flat!' made me smile!
