Yes mate, Im in the same situation. Money sent, told the parts were dispatched, no replies to PM's, phonecalls, texts or voicemails. Looks like we've been shafted by someone who uses this forum a lot. And if he has taken the trouble to put the car on Ebay he can hardly claim he is too busy to answer our questions. -

I take your point clumpy and will obviously be a bit more savvy when next using paypal but as a newbie who doesnt use paypal its a easy mistake and rather than pointing out to us newbies that we should learn our lesson it would be more beneficial to the community old and new to apply some influence on your fellow veteran to honor the spirit of the community and fulfill orders or return funds -

Ive been left with no choice here, I made the mistake of trusting Rich/ p3rks and sending payment through "pay a friend" on paypal a month ago. Cant raise a dispute now because of this so have to do a chargeback with my bank to get my money back. There's probably a good reason but a simple reply is not much to ask. So just be careful buying from him -

Rich, Ive been more than patient on this. I've posted on this forum and sent you numerous private messages. you know the story with my personal situation and why I need these parts so urgently. Ive sent you £100 via paypal on the 21st of August. The last contact you made with me was on the 3rd Sep saying you had shipped the steering column and bonnet cable with UPS. If you are not able to fulfill your end of the deal then at least afford me the courtesy of a reply so I can look elsewhere -

Hi P3rks, would you have these for sale mate? external passenger and driver door handles, barrels, key, bonnet cable and pull handle, external plastic panel on boot (surrounding the lock), weather strip for passenger and driver, steering column cheers -
cheers all, the mechanic thought it would be the thermostat so confirms wat he said. does it need replaced or fixed? is it expensive to replace?

seen the temp gauge going up and the light coming on, got out checked the water which was steaming, dont know how hot its meant to be but it was bubbling. the temp always sat at 80/90 no matter what so wanna make sure he hasnt done something he shouldnt have then blame it on bad luck. So to clarify the slick 50 couldnt have done anything?

Just had my C VR6 into a garage for a 51,000 service, usual things oil/filter change. The mechanic recommended putting in Slick 50 so he did, after getting the car outa the garage and driving for then mins the temp gauge was up at 110 with flashing red light. The mechanic reckons it might be a sensor. Seems abit of coincidence to me but hey what do I know. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Slick 50, is it suitable for the VR6? Could this have been the cause? Cheers

Cheers all. the wheels wouldnt hav been my first choice either redwoodkp but like yourself were on the car when i got her. I shopped about for a clean unmodded example so i think ill keep it that way, will def get it dropped tho as agree with u all about the height.
