    nic-clark, you should def get a tidy vr for the money.. i wouldnt reckon youd get a good return in a couple of years by comparison on a 16v.. however, if you used half your budget it would give you room for customizing..

    i didnt say there was anything wrong with oem+ :wink: it would certainly stop s!t like the fast and furious style unpainted bumpers i saw on a mk3 golf today!

    i work at MINI so have a new car every 3 months.. the rado is now for fun, but becoming increasingly less justafiable.

    I'd go for the fmic, you can get good results from fettled g60 brakes. fettled how? my brakes seem pretty poor at the moment, running standard disks and green stuff pads.. my thoughts were its prob better to sort that first before getting more power! sorry for threadjacking andy!
