average over the last 600 miles is just under 24mpg, that is without a long run though, average speed is probably around 30mph through winding country lanes with no real straights or flat roads

Having just collected my vr6 last week :lol: I have immediately noticed that my fuel consumption is quite a bit lower that that of my mate who owns a vr6 :( . 22-25mpg compared to 26-27-28mpg, even when he gives it a real go. If i drive around at 1-2000 revs i get a healthy return of 25mpg!!! Does anybody know whats going on and is this a regular occurance with the vr6?? Please help :lol:I used to own a gti-6 and alfa romeo spider, both had problems with the lambda sensor, could that be the problem?? :?

bristolbaron, Silver rado in cirencester last monday if that was the day you saw it?, I was picking up my dark blue vr6 the same day. Also up there the saturday before

there vaws a similar ad in last week, she was teasing someone that she had sold the rado and knew he wanted to buy it, then she says she still loves him and wishes they were back together or some weird shit! I'm getting quite into this, might have to quit watching all those soaps and start buyimng autotraders from across the country! :lol:

Andy seen your thread. How much did the cv joint cost? I have the same on the rear passenger side, but only occasionally and at low speeds, did they give you any advice on when it should be done? and if it would cause other damage to the car :?

6K miles in the last 3 years this one has done, was parked up in a garage in Cirencester gathering dust. Owner had a brand new alpina! just heard of a 30k vr6 down south so will investigate further! truely becoming a classic, ive had comments from people all week, whats that car, i had one, i want one etc all good :lol:

years mot left on the car, so probably hence the seatbelts being done up! I am yet to clean the back seats, they still have spiders webs on them! fish4cars.co.uk, just got lucky it was the first car i went to see, but probably the 50th one to have enquired about. Looked on the forum and autotrader, autocar etc. Worth a look if your searching for a corrado, may be the place to get the ones that havent taken any abuse! i.e. 2nd cars etc :lol:

Paid £4150, 98k one lady owner, air con, fsh, seats as per last mail, steering, gearbox tight as u like and no cabin noise at all! needs new motor for sunroof and motor for wing mirrors. 6k in the last 2 years, been sat in a garage!

Ive just picked up a vr6 with leather, electric, heated seats that also have the recaro emblem on them with the middle of the seat, as with the cloth ones in this thread. I dont have any decent pictures as yet as I only picked up thre car this monday! :lol:
