Glad to see you are enjoying the beast. I wish I could have tried it with a 50 mm pulley. It was amazing on the standard pulley and ecu so I cant imagine its full potential on an engine that can take it. I'll have to catch up with you at a show sometime.

funny that cause I bought passat handles off G60DUB cause I had to climb through my boot. Sent a drivers handle and both latches but no passenger as he suddenly only had two drivers handles. He said he would send one on straight away but it never turned up. After a while I got a bit annoyed and asked where it was. Offered a small refund and then a week later said it was sent and told me to check with the post office. Would not provide a tracking number or offer any more help.

checking for interest and ideas on prices
jamesmilsome replied to jamesmilsome's topic in General Car Chat
hi rich. Early interior with the two back seats. I need £2500 so suppose thats the price I need to get cheers -
hi, I am probably going to break my corrado g60 and need a bit of help with the pricing etc. It is well due a service, has 170 k + on it, needs a new rear wing, the starter motor has just gone and it leaks water from the engine block. I really cant be spending so much out on this car. It has its + points though. Lysholm charger with about 8 k miles on it max with the howitzer intake. Bought for $2800 + the postage and taxes etc. Would like ideas on what I may get for this. Brand new FK Konig sport coilovers still in the box. Paid 540. Think I can expect £450 collected or £500 delivered???? Full black leather interior in good condition with Gti Engineering leather steering wheel. Small patch fading on bolster. What these going for these days? 4 x 100 Compomotive MO's in white with excellent Bridgestone Potenza's. 17's et 35. Need work to the outer lips but dont think its a problem. Paid £500 for them I guess i'll try guess other prices of the smaller bits from past ads etc and put together a list for everyone. Would love to sell it whole but I need as much money as poss and doubt there will be enough interest. What do you think then? cheers in advance

nah, building control officer. Usually the builders official enemy if your crap but were good and dont cut corners. He is a really sound bloke but keeps using vw for parts etc. 2.5 k quote for sorting the rear panel.
-
You lot know too much.... I am sure if someone wanted green trim vw would do it for a cost. looks very good suprisingly in green
-
I assumed he meant the lower support that is removed when lysholm is fitted. my mistake
-
green stitching as far as i remember mate? i'll check next time I see him although not sure when that will be
-
yes mate. Not an in your face green. Could almost look black if the light was poor
-
How can you bolt to the standard g60 support? The bahn brenner charger requires this to be removed so you can use the oil feed behind?
-
Thought as much. Someone must have lavished that car. cheers lads

hi, A building control officer that checks our extensions has a silver corrado 2.0 16 v He bought it 6 years ago for about 8 k i think. Millage is really low but a skip lorry reversed into is rear quarter the other month  His front and back seats and door cards are in a green leather. It looks like either a factory trim or an exceptional re trim. It was in there when he bought it and as far as he knew they were standard. There are no reciepts for a re trim and he has loads of history I think. I've never heard of a corrado with green leather?
-
running the standard pulley, if i get chance i'll check the boost on the mfa tomoz
-
g-dub you not fitting this yourself? Take a day at the max. Just make sure you wd40 everything on the old charger well before you take it off and bolt the oil lines onto the new charger before you bolt it to the car as its a bugger to do after. I asked john to change the instructions to mention this and I think he did? Its crap when your on your own struggling to fit and it all has to come back off .
-
Def true about the police ciren. If you blip the throttle just right it sounds remarkably similar. About 2 grand is probably about right. Depending on what the rates are at the moment. By the time you have bought the charger, maybe the filter or a pulley, paid for postage and VAT and then import duty. + I had to pay my bank for a transfer which was 30 quid or so. Import duty is not as much as you would expect though when you have $450 wrote on the sales documents  Good man that john betz.

I've got one on mine and I love it mate. Depends if you want everyone knowing you, knowing where you go, where you've been and what time you were going there. Its loud and absolutely everyone looks at you. I've had people checking there own car because they think something is wrong at the lights. Two people have pulled over for what reason I dont know. They are also easy enough to fit and run well off the standard chip, although a sns would be recomended and they have maps off the shelf for a corrado with this charger. 5th gear at 20mph is as stealth as it gets without the silencer. I'll try sort some audio out next week once i've fitted my new wheels and tyres as current tyres have wires coming through.
-
these wheels will be on my car monday night if all goes well. With white wheels and the bahn brenner charger I best make sure my car is fully legal. Going to stand out a bit I think.
-
cheers mate, pm'd him earlier - look ideal
-
Hi, Thinking about buying some of these wheels but dont know what size to go? Any ideas. Be either 16 or 17 " maybe 7.5 on front and 8 on back if they do it or 7.5 all round? cheers

Want to hear what a NA 300bhp R32 sounds like in a tunnel?
jamesmilsome replied to biggerbigben's topic in General Car Chat
I'm tempted now to do a clip of my bahn brenner'd corrado in 2nd gear through a tunnel . Now that is a loud and totally insane noise. -
Right. All the pipes into the tb were split and perished (obviously not fuel related but did not help) The critical 1m long pipe was split half way round its circumference and was only 900mm long. Also found a big leak from the bottom of the FPR. The crap hoseclip was loose and fuel was just coming out from around the pipe.
-
cheers mate. I'll check asap and get it booked in for some injectors and a tune
-
I have a bahn brenner screw compressor fitted to my g60 and I know it needs a tune. When I park on an incline and try to restart the car there is loads of fuel spilt under the engine and the starter wont turn. I have to push it in gear hard to unlock the starter and then it just turns over. If I then hold the acelerator down it picks up and fires fuel out the exhaust and smoke. It then settles down and runs fine. This only seems to happen when I park on a slope facing upwards. On everyday driving I smell fuel and think it may be an injector leaking as I am sure there is fuel on the inlet manifold. I think perhaps because of the extra air the engine is getting it is overfueling and not burning it. Any ideas? I am not driving the car until I get this sorted as I dont want it up in flames. Will be buying new red injectors and a chip anyway so I can eliminate these two areas soon. I may book it into a garage and get it up on the ramps for a proper look. cheers

sounds like a bugger to do really. Fancied the lorinser wheels on the edition38 forum. recon they would look good. any idea what it may cost to replace g60 with vr running gear?
-
Hi, I want to fit merc wheels 5 x 112 onto my g60. What options do I have. I know i can fit vr6 running gear and buy adapters but that sounds like a nightmare. also they are et 35 and with spacers i would have et 15 i guess. What issues would I have as they are 8 j all round. cheers
