  1. I looked in the manual and where it says it is,i cant find it.However it does look like a g60 engine in the picture,so is it in a different place on the 16v?Cheers Paul
  2. I havent seen any corrados out in Mk since i started driving mine on thursday. Two blokes stopped in a mk1 gti when i broke down at 11.30 pm friday night to see if they could help, turned out it was the connector on the distributor had become loose
  3. The switches arent expensive,i had to replace mine for the mot this weekend because my rear fog wasnt working. From vw they are 14 quid, but my local vw dealer didnt have one so i went to the breakers and got one out of a mk3 polo which are exactly the same part no
  4. Breaking down tonight(just got in)and having to be followed home by the AA ,after only driving it a day.I was in central milton keynes and a Calibra was really starting to annoy me,so i pulled onto the dual carriageway and put my foot down, only for the car to die and i lost my rev counter etc.It was the o ring in the distributor that had perished so it was leaking oil
  5. Cheers,am new to corrados, ive had mk2 gtis for the last few years so know them inside out,but dont know much about corrados yet
  6. For my next question,do i just take the handle off and put the white clip on the handle?
  7. Spoke to the previous owner last night as he brought the standard parcel shelf round, and he gave me the white u shaped clip which he didnt have time to fit,so that answers that question
  8. I have just bought a 1990 16v and have a couple of problems that if anyone could offer any suggestions that would be great.First one is the drivers side handle, when i pull it to open the door, the whole handle pivots, like it isnt attached in the middle. Also the central locking is working ok apart from the boot lock which i have to unlock/lock manually but it sounds like the motor is working in the boot??
