Red valver me tinks (possibly a G60!) seen in Eastcote highstreet about 12 pm.... gave a wave but i was on the phone (hope there was no police!!!) didnt catch the reg...possibly a G reg, early bonnet!!! Any takers??

Should be good fun!! I ran my c 16v last year and ran it in the high 17's..... but it was not really running all to well!!! There were a few c's there but i was the only one running mine.... shame!! Be interested to see what the vr does.... if i still have her!! :(

I dont think VW will ever bring back the C cause it was not a big hit money wise!! And lets face it, thats what they are all about!! But i agree, bring back the eighties styling........ cant beat it!!! New cars these days just seem to be boring and too smooth looking!

I have had the greatest of privalige to drive both, and my opinion is the vr!! But as most have said, thats just my opinion... yours might be a little different!!! I think the vr is a bit smoother as well!!! But for that money you could get a mucho sweet one. Good luck mate

Cheers mate. I think the previous engine must have gone bust, and they had put a 2.8 vr in instead. Runs real nice though! Its got a late black dash.

Hello good people, how do! This is just a heads up to those that might be interested in buying my Rado. Its not up for sale yet but i will let y'all know when. 92/93 K Reg VR6 (2.8 Vr6, Engine swap before i bought her) Dark Blue (pearlscent blue i think) Dark cloth interior Good condition speedlines Bodywork in good condition apart from the usual stonechips and very minor dings. Since i have had the car i have had the engine checked out and had lots of work done to the engine, E.g..... Gasket Set 12 Hydraulic lifters Flywheel Bolts New Hydraulic Tensioner New Coil Pack New Exhaust Valves New Head Bolts K&N fitted Timing chain and belt have been checked and are fine. I have not had the car very long (about 6 months) but i have to sell because i need the money big time. I intended on keeping it as my project but things didnt go my way!!! :( I will be putting pictures up as soon as i can. Apologies if i was not allowed to advertise this in here but i thought as its not for sale just yet, best not be putting it in the "FOR SALE" part of things!!!! If anyone has any Q's, feel free to ask and i will get back/answer as quick/best as possible. Would like to see car go to a good home. Cheers Guys p.s This is not the end of my corrado days!!! :D

Does or has anyone got a supercharger in their vr6??? Anyone no anything about them?? (have heard some good stuff about them so far.... except the price tag!! :shock: Anyone elses opinion??

okay.... i have spoken to a a guy i know who works in a tuning center..... he said vw did make a 2.8l lump for the c's...... he checked it over and said it has defo not had an engine swap.... apparently the engine was built before the 2.9 dohc and they called it AAA. also..... america recieved the same engine (us spec) and we (europe) got the pick of both!!! A MASSIVE weight of my mind. thanks for all your help people..... i am soon to be putting an induction kit and magnex on her.... should be fun!!!

205k... that makes me feel a little better!!! ;) something i was concerned about was that my engine block says "vr6 2.8"... i thought they 2.9s...... im new to the vr as you can see.... i had my good old trusty 1.8 16v for 2 years..... (not that there is ANYTHING wrong with them!!!) but i read that only the golfs come in 2.8s.......... !!! is there even much of a diffrence between them??!! lukeage... i think moonlight blue is spot on dear boy!

She is dark blue..... some would say black but hey!! it came with absolute stacks of bill and m.o.ts... i will check them for timing chains. the noise from this engine is unreal.... you cant help but put your foot down just to hear it......but then you find yourself back at the petrol pump :) any hints on induction kits ......... cheers for the link dude.

Hello people, it is a very good day as i have just bought my vr6 today!!! what an awsome car... The car has covered 135k with full v.a.g history... has anyone experienced problems at this mileage?? what should i be looking out for?? Also i want to put an induction kit on a.s.a.p but not sure which is the best for a vr6 (k reg)... any ideas cheers..... Drew
