check the old posts, but I can warn you that a 30 mil drop will probably not be visible if the car is running on its original shocks. I lowered my 1992 G60 by 60 mil on the original shocks and it is not excessive by any means.

1992 J Corrado G60 I am just about to order a Magnex system (part no XSVWC6) but it is a CATBACK system rather than BYPass there is a Supersprint BYPASS that will fit, trouble is I wanted all stainless. Does anyone know if the 1992 Golf BYPASS that Magnex do will fit or an alternative BYPASS. Or any experience with another option. Cheers Matt

Need new back part of exhaust and was wondering if any one could recomend a good solution I have herd that the two above are the leading manufacturers. Whats the deal with cat bypass, noise, price etc??

I was told to be prepared for the possiblity that it may not make that much difference if your standard set up as sagged over 12 years or so?
-
will a 40 drop even notice if your car is still running on original standard set up, I was told that the car would have probably sagged 30-35 on my 92 J G60??

Anyone know of a supplier of good quality external Corrado covers? Dont want to spend a fortune, but want a decent one though. Cheers

Getting car lowered with shocks and dampers by 40m but worried it is not going to ride any lower due to sagging over the years? Is this the standard drop or should it be lower? I am using a GMAX set.

So AVO no good then, Eibach's are 3x the price, are they 3 times better?
-
what springs did you go for, I heard that AVO were quite good and reasonable?
-
I dont want to spend too much, im happy with the handling of the standard set up as I dont race about, getting too old for all that. I just want to improve the look as it sits a bit high.

Want to lower my G60 C which is on standard BBS which I want to keep. Just want to improve looks and maybe a little bit better handling. Any thoughts???? Cheers

My local RAC did mine on Monday which my insurance co paid for, it is not invisible repair but better than a paying for a new one. The guy at the RAC said C's screen were a real pig to do as well, something to do with the outer rim of the screen.

He lives in Dartford and as far as I know he does all the local dealers wheels as well as dent removal. Nice guy, I got the contact from my mate at Merc. He had some mad machine to do the wheels, they look the nuts now. Thoroughly recomended.
