Any word on the roof moulding?

Hello All, Hopefully getting my corrado out of the shop soon, but I am being plagued by the ABS System not working. There is the ABS Delete option, and I've read about the Teves 20 Option from a Passat as a solution, but most of those parts have become obsolete too. Is there any options to upgrade an OBD-1 Corrado to a newer VW system that has not been discontinued? Is there a write up available? Thx, Adriano

Thank you for your replies, and your help, I will check with Rock Auto if they can help. I think I attached a picture of the almost complete Corrado. I'm very excited to get her back! Strangely I have struggled in the US to get these locally, they don't have them in stock. I'm a US expat that is based in the United Arab Emirates on a work assignment, and shipped my Corrado out here for the time being. It'll probably be cheaper to ship from the UK than the US.

Hi Guys, Been a while since I have posted on here. Can anyone recommend a shop where I can get a Corrado windshield? I have looked around to a lot of places and cannot find anyone, so thought to pop on here and ask. I am currently rebuilding the Corrado completely and the windshield has cracked, so it will not pass inspection. As the car is almost completed I need a shop that can sell me with a windshield that is packaged for shipping. I live internationally and have a shipping company that can pick it up and deliver it to me. Any recommendations? Thanks Adriano

Hi Guys, I am looking to buy a 2.9L VR6 Throttle Body. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Adriano
-
Hello Mate, I have sent you an email on this. Thanks Adriano

Thanks mate I sent him an email, but I have not heard from him. I know that he is a really busy guy, thought someone else might know... The Borbet ES are similar, bit the spokes are different. All I know from Alex's posts is that they are rare and on the Corrado-Database it is listed as the same. Anyone else have an idea?

Hey Guys, I am in search of of these wheels and need to know who makes them and what they are. Any help would be great. I think they look sick on the corrado, but no one seems to be able to tell me what they are. 2ssmaz5si61qycsu[1].jpg[/attachment:09d31] Many thanks My Corrado as it currently stands...

Hello I was looking to purchase a battery cover from TM Tuning to go along with a bunch of other orders that I have with them. But I have no clue what size to go with. I think it is a 42 A, but not sure. I drive an VR6 Corrado from the States. Here is the link for ref http://www.tmtuning.com/HOME/catalog/pr ... =846erence Many thanks Adriano 8)

Hey All, I have been through the Sticky's at the top. I would like to know if it would be best to get a Miltek or a Jetex exhaust system and why one would buy the one over the other. From what I have read, the Miltek seems to be better quality and sound, but how about performance? The Jetex produced the most HP in an exhaust shootout. But the Miltek was not featured being in limited supply here in the US. http://www.ndimports.com/00_global/06_med/articles/2004-12/index.asp Thanks for your help, I'm in the final toss up and need an exhaust for my 3.0L project.... 8)

I have not been on here for sometime, as I have had a couple of issues to deal with, including the Rado. There have been a couple of changes to the car however and thought I would post pics of the updated look. Pics of your cars have inspired my direction. New things to come this year though ;)

Thanks for your help Guys.

Hello all My car was in a small accident recently and because of this I am getting new wheels and tires. I opted to go for a set of Brock B2 16X7.5 in the front and 16X9 in the rear. But I have no idea what size tires to run on these. Bear in mind that the roads here in Houston, Texas ar pretty shitty and I would like a stretch in the rear, but not something too severe as I want to try and avoid damaging the rims. So what size tires should I go with on these? Thanks Adriano

Sounds like an interesting project. I have to ask, what wheels are these? Size, Offset, Tire Size? Sad to see you selling it though. as mentioned, must be tough.

Hey Guys I never noticed those sliders, wonder if it's just the light...??? :?: Sorry guys, but the car pictured is not mine. It is Anh's from DubDesignIndustries.com (Zarman on the boards). A lot of the stuff you see in the pic that is not Momo (Steering wheel) or OEM (TT Shifter, TT Pedals) is stuff that he makes and sells on his website. Like the Rings around the guages, the upgraded guages themselves, The LED's used to change everything from green to red etc. His interior is the ispiration to upgrade mine. My interior has the Red Buttons and knobs as pictured, the guages and guage rings, but I am using the Momo Sphere Gearknob (leather) and the Momo race steering wheel. It looks similar to his though. I'll post a pic of my cars interior later, it is still in the works. My CIG Lighter bezel is on it's way. :D Part #441 919 343 from an Audi dealership if your interested. My intention with the picture was to show that it actually takes very little to upgrade the overall look of the dash to something that looks a little more modern. I do agree that certain things look oldschool like the buttons etc, but I think it adds to the charisma of the car. Makes it different from all that is coming out these days, especially since some of the manufacturers seem to be going back to some Retro styling. In a way we are ahead of the game :D. MKIV buttons would be pretty cool though I have to admit. But I think it would be some work to make them fit and adjust the wiring.

I am sure that you are familiar with them, but I have worked with a few Dub Design Industry parts to give it a bit of an updated look. New Dials, Silver rings and I have converted all of the buttons to Red instead of Green. Gives it a much better and very updated look, yet retaining the oldschool qualities. I have also added some Momo components such as gear knob and steering wheel which has improved the over all look of the dash and the interior in general. This is the Dub Design Industries Interior I think that overall changing the Guage Faces, Adding the silver rings and changing the colour of the dash panels to Red made a huge difference.

Here is a cheap Photoshop on a Rado. It's not mine, but the best front on picture tha tI could find.

Hello all How easy would it be to make a MKIII bumper fit to a corrado? Not sure if y'all can answer this, but I am looking for something new in corrado front bumpers. I was looking at the SWG Motorsport front bumper for the Golf and photoshoped it onto the Corrado. It looked pretty good. Lead me to thinking what would it entale to get other bumpers to fit a corrado? I'll post the photoshop one later, it is at work ;) Thanks

When I was looking at it I did not see the resemblance to the Reiger one. I was thinking maybe Dietrich, but their RS2 has a smaller vent in the front. It's definately an RS2 Front bumper. Just did not know who the manufacturer was, thanks.

Hey Guys, saw this pic a while back and I really like the bumper. I just do not know what front bumper it is. I thought I had posted this before, but I did a search and I have not.
