DanVW, thanks for your advice. It seems there is no one having a boost chart. Or this subject isn't enough interesting... Well... I still waiting...
-
Does anyone tell me, clearly, what BOOST must have a stock-new G-Lader at DIFFERENT rpms (at 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 rpms)? I know the boost must be 0,8 bar (11,3 psi) checking at red line (6200 rpm). How i must to check it: standing in my yard or on street? What rpms, what gear, what boost? I check it yesterday: 1,1 bar (17 psi) with full throttle just(!) at 7000 rpm: BarTek RS kit (chip, 70mm pulley, ISV restrictor), self made RSR charger outlet (removed the G silencer). It is good, or is it bad? Plese, i need details? Thanks a lot!

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
corraptor_evo replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
I just have changed my front seats. -
Well, if you are talking about OZ Ultraleggera, I allready had preocupieded about the lightneness too and I have asked the same question as you did. Diferent guys said to me this are too "pointy" for a Corrado and they look too weak, so I changed my mind. I like very much the OZ Record and even Palladio too.
-
Gee! Phat, I believe your OZ Racing F1 are the wheel I really wanted so far but this are out of production so I couldn't ordered them... You know what I had choosed... For the rest of your mechanical activity, I'm speachless :salute: :notworthy: ... I'm a kind of an "office monkey" too (as a matter of fact I'm working as a Business Development Manager in sales area), but for my former Scirocco and my actual Corrado modifications I have gained the respect of the amateur tuners in my area, but I'm so far from your perfomances... I'm watching nearly your thread... Maybe I'll catch some tricks
-
Yeap! Me too...
-
Thank you guys! Anyway, as I said earlier, I give up the Ultraleggeras. I just had to choose between Rial Nogaro (silver polished) and Rial Nogaro Black (black polished) (My car will be deep red). 8Jx17-et 35, with 35 mm spacers on rear axle, with 205/40 Nankang NS1 rims.
-
Hi, Phat! Nice to read you again. Thank you for your positive answer. I'm allways looking for your opinions.
-
Thanks guys, for your opinion. But I changed my mind. I just ordered from Rial their new Nogaro Black 8jx17" et 35 and 35 mm spacers for rear. This wheels will be used only for the dry season. That mean I'll put on my C in spring when I'll repaint my car in RED.

Very interesting mod! Keep it up! I'm watching you. 8)

Pics of Corrado with a side exit exhaust??
corraptor_evo replied to Shaggy's topic in General Car Chat
This is my C. The double sided exhausts are in a intermediate phase. At the finish theese will look different. I hope better than now. The below pictures are since my car was under construction (setting the syncro system). -
what are your perfect wheels for a 'Rado and why? Disc
corraptor_evo replied to vwdeviant's topic in General Car Chat
Here is an address for a very good wheel simulator (they say it "Showroom") where I saw very many good rims. http://www.wheelmachine.de/ -

corraptor_evo replied to vwdeviant's topic in General Car Chat
Hi, guys! From 2 months I' looking for new rims for my C. I was hoping this thread will make me to have a decision. Wrong!.... Still looking! But, my favorites are: Autec Opal, Schmidt Racelite, Toora T550, OZ Ultraleggera, Rial Nogaro Black. PLEASE! Tell me your opinion! -
OZ Ultraleggera! Does any one know something about this wheels? Besides that this are the most light wheels (7,2 Kilos for a 7Jx17") instead 11-13 kilos for other wheels. I know there is a big lot of technology but this are enough resistent?
-
OK. Thanks!
-
Sorry for my late view your post. And thanks for your good thought. Weare too far indeed. just 2500 km or 1600 M. :( Can you send me some pics?

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
corraptor_evo replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
* First operation: Changed the IC (3 hours), and fitted an RS Outlet 70mm diameter (2 hours). Boost 1.1 bar at 7000 rpm with 72mm pulley. * Second operation: 2 beers and a double scotch (30 min). -
Oh, I see! My problem is I have the rear axle from Passat Syncro and this car have the hubs and the brake disks only with 4 hubs. I don't know what to do... what replacement? Probably I will renounce the ideea of having 5 hubs...
-
You're right G60bv about the dividing of 100 mm diameter! But if i'll redrill the hubs and put the Brembo 5x100 disks is enough sure? And the hubs must be trimmed (weight equalization)?
-
Hi! What are you saying about the redrilling all four brake disks and wheel hubs? How good (safe) is this solution? I am asking because I want to change too from 4 to 5 studs.

Any thoughts on a funky new colour for the C?
corraptor_evo replied to double-6s's topic in Exterior
Next spring I'll change my painting too: upper half shiny orange (like Focus RS-see KADVR6) and charcoal metallic grey from below. What are you saying? Anyway, we cannot meet on the corner of the street  ! -
Hello, boys! I watch this subject becouse i'm extremely interested. I have a Corrado G60 (of course :D !). It had a stock ATA gear box (ratios: 3.778; 2.105; 1.345; 0.971; 0.795; FR 3.684). I fitted a Syncro system with CBC:(3.778; 2.117; 1.360; 0.966; 0.795; FR 3.938). I lost over one second to 100 Km/h (60 mph) and gain 3/4 of a gallon in consumption     . Now, I want to keep the case, swap the CBC internals with a CCM: (3.300; 1.944; 1,308; 1.034; FR 3.348) or a ASD (3,300; 1.944; 1.308; 0.917; 0.717; FR 3.158). Can anyone tell me SURE what will happen? What I'll gain and what I'll loose? Thank you all!

250 km after I rebuilded my GLader, I verified any oil leaks. It was OK. -

Yesterday I went to a trip with my new rebuilded (by myself) compressor. I don't now if there is a difference because I don't step over 2500 rpm (only first 500 km - 300Miles, of course), but it sounds like I fitted well all the things inside :thumb right:. Nick, Great look mate! I like your shinny red! G60greeny, Its't a good choise, man! Couple a months ago I fited on my Corraptor a Weitec Hicon GT+TX Kit and it works great. I feel a big difference. I am looking forward for strutbars (front and rear). Come on boys! Go to my personal album and see all my 40 pictures.
