Thanks for the encouraging words Nick, I hope I can get it all done, I've got a picture of what I want it to look like in my head & it just wont feel right unless its all done. As far as the courage to pull it apart go's , I'm a bit like that with everything, I've got massive Ideas for everything house, garden, cars etc can be a bit of a bad habit

:D Yesterday I went to dropped my rear bumper off at the plastic welders, but when I got there he had locked up :( , so I left it at the side of his unit and sent him a text telling him that I wanted to delete the exhaust and towing eye holes and plastic fill the lower swage line, I also mentioned that I needed it back ASAP. So Imagine how suprised I was when I phone him this afternoon to ask him if he'd found it, and he tells me its fininhed  :? :D . I still needs a bit of rubbing down but it's near enough ready :D

Hi all, just thought I'd show you lot how I've been getting on with the carpet. I started taking the old carpet out at about 23:00 and have just called it a night 02:00 ish as I've got to be up for work at 6  I manage to seperate the original carpet into 3 parts, Driver, passenger and rear, I then used these parts as templates on the new carpet. After cutting the carpet in the house, I went back out to the car for a trial fitting. I'm not finished yet but so far so good :D .

Now your on my wavelength :D , I've got a good few mates doing all they can to help , so fingers crossed.

good luck with its a big ask. If its a factory carpet, dead easy you won't any problems. If its custom made show quality one like mine it will take days to do even for a pro. I'l see ya in a couple of days then :D
-
I took my engine to get rebuilt this evening, been told I should have it back within a week ( Big thanks to DAZ fom Dub Shack) :D Also took the RS's apart, which was a nightmare, endless undoing of bolts and then seperating the 3 peices  for a while I was convinced they were glued.
-
Thanks for all the good luck shout's I know i'm gonna need it :) logicaltunning "the essentials, yes, the carpets, install etc, not a chance lol" Those are the easy bit's, the carpet should take me no longer than a few hours to cut to shape, bond together and fit, and the ice install, (less the wiring, which will be done with the carpets) will proberbly take a full day ti fit. I might start the carpet tomorrow. :)

It needed a bit of engine work, which the owner had been over quoted to get done, so he thought he could afford to keep it. I knoked him down from 1300. I've since found receipt in with the paper work for £4500 a year and a half ago. DAZ
