so i cant fit the free g60 lowering kit my mate was giving me on my vr.
-
Are g60 and vr6 lowering kits the same canone fit another?, or are they different designs for different cars.
-
it could have done with a better colour!

Hardly corrado but i just wanted your opinions. I have a 2.9 vr6 engine and one of my second cars is a mk1 golf gti. I want to drop the engine into the golf. What are your opinions, has this been done before?

Henny, What i meant is not to even touch the stub axle but the mounting plate that sits behind it move that a little further back.
-
Im going to be fitting wider rear wheels than front, how about when the rear stub axle is removed it uncovers a flat plate with four holes for bolts. If i got this sawn off and some of the axle cut back and the flat plate professionally welded again would this be ok, i dont want to widen the arches too much.

i was thinking of using the rallye diff and shafts and get it to work with the quattro gearbox maybe with a custom drive shaft. Has anybody ever come across this engine into a corrado.

im looking for some wheels for my G60, i know that vr6 and G60's use different offsets. What is the widest wheel i can get on my G60 in 17" and the lowest offset.
-
know someone who is doing this.. Are they running the quattro running gear too?
-
lo evryone, how easy or difficult is it to remove the rubber frame that is on the top part of the door and runs around the glass, it seems to be lined with metal and mine has lost its shape, can you buy these from the dealer?

Firstly Hello everyone, I have a 92 Corrado G60 130k on the clock. I have been looking at the 4x4 conversions on this forum with great interest and now want to do this my self, i was thinking of transplanting a audi s2 engine but use the golf rallye running gear. What are your opinions on this ihave seen the s2 engine produce some impressive figures and the engines are easily available.
