Evening all My bro's C is running abit ruff at idle, but is fine once you get going. he has been told that there is probably a hole in the inlet pipe what do you guys think it could be? cheers :)

Has anyone ever fitted a core plug into the head? What needs removing to get in there cheers

Ayup guys, hopefully you can help me out. My C isn't starting at the mo and i think its the ignition switch. This is because for a while now when i turn the key to start it it wouldn't do anything, so i'd turn it back and try again and it would start. Sometimes it would take just one go and other times 3 or 4. Then the last couple of times i used it it took loads of attempts and now won't start at all. So the switch has finally packed in. I've bought a new switch from the sealers and attempted to fit it. I've removed all the trim around the steering wheel and i can see where it goes. I pulled out the plug that goes into the switch and plugged it into the new switch to make sure it was right. Now the bit i need to know is how to get the old ignition switch out cos its tucked up right inside the metal casing. do i need to take the steering wheel off? cheers danny

could be ignition switch cos its not even giving the engine a cheance to start. any idea how much they cost?

ayup geezers my c isn't starting :mad: i think it might just be a relay but i thought i'd run it past you lot. when i turn the key all of the igition lights come on and i can hear the feul pump prime but the engine dosen't start. the engine dosen't even get a chance to start. any ideas which relay it will be? cheers :)

its more the fact that corrado recs cost alot more and are harder to come by. i'd have a pair of corrado sub frames cos i'd be doing the decent thing and scrapping the standard seats! i'll have to have a closer look, at least i know its possible now any pics anyone while were on the subjuct?

is it possible to fit any recaros into a c like out of a rs turbo or do they have to be out of a c cos of the subframes? i think the later cos the subframes seem to be part of the seat and not bolted together like on the turbos.

just wondering what sort of MPG peeps are getting, especially in a 2.0 16v

My bonnet release cable has snapped and i can't open the bonnet! any idea how i can get in?

well i was going to check every one to make sure they are all correct, a perious owner could of made a mistake aswell. i didn't notice amp numbers on the fuse box but i'll nip and check now.

Ayup had a few fuses to change the other day but i took the old ones out without taking note of the size of fuse that came out, like 10 15 or 25amp does anyone know what takes what ampage? cheers :D

oh we fixed his heater prob, it was just the cable at the back had come off

this is after we lowered tims car. because we lowered so much its raised the front a bit so that will be a job for this weekend. I've been meaning to ask what other peeps ride height is like when its slammed on coilovers cos tims is now really bouncy. are there firmer springs available or can the damping be adjusted?
