  8. Regretting selling my last one last year so looking for another mystic blue storm Any condition considered, running or not but please be realistic with price expectations and honest with description Not fan of green I’m afraid.... Cash waiting Thanks Steve
  9. Im very keen on this, also looking at a mint Mk4 golf anniversary - also a future classic..... Is there anyone near the Corrado that would maybe go and have a glance at it for me?
  10. thanks I think the fact that its totally standard is appealling and when you factor in the work thats been done then perhaps the price tag isnt too ridiculous, that being said Id hope to be able to haggle a fair bit with a wad of £50 notes in my hand. There's another one come up thats nearer to me but not in nearly as good condition (according to the ads), at £3600 but I'd likely have to spend another £2k getting it right. That being said Im taking the sellers description as gospel as not really having the opportunity to see it in the flesh - Im from Aberdeen Steve
  11. http://www.yorkshiremodernclassics.com/ Its also on ebay Anyone know it, Thabks
  12. Hi, I am looking at getting back into corrado ownership, Iv ehad 4 or 5 over the years with the last one being the one that I should have really kept (1995 Mystic blue Storm) seemed like a good idea at the time to see and I was looking for the garage space but I have regretted it ever since... So back looking for a keeper, dont mind if its needing work done as long as its priced to match. Top of the list would be another Mystic blue Storm (not so keen on the Green ones as I dont think the beige leather stands up nearly as well... Then Standard VR6's - Blue with black or grey leather ideal, also like the silver ones strangely enough Dont really want red, burgandy, violet, black or white Would also consider a nice G60, but nothiung thats been heavily modified Have cash waiting for the right one Im based near Aberdeen Thanks Steve
  13. No sweat, appreciate everyones advice... as said its ultimately my choice. I have chosen the standard plug and will see how I get on with that. Ive also got a standard set of Ignition leads and a full set of filters for a full service from Europarts - all in I was only £73 which is much less than I was thinking it would be. Cars done 160k and no idea when the last time the plugs and leads were changed... if at all so hopeful it will make a little difference, sort out the slightly eratic idle at least. Plan is to get the car mechanically tip top before I splash out on the respray.... Once again, thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply. Appreciated! Steve
  14. advice from poster on first page was that iridium tipped should be missed
  15. thamnks guys. NGK spark plugs and OEM spec leads it shall be....
  16. cheers so I need a 7 lead HT lead set
  17. Just got myself a Storm too - Mystic blue. Its currently hiding out in the garage until I get it MOT'd then a full service and a respray. Alloys currently in getting powder coated after I eventually managed to force off the locking nuts (no key provided by previous owner GGggrrrrr and fresh new continental rubber is on its way.... Hope to have it on road by end of October, next time its out of teh garage I'll take a picture or two....
  18. Hi guys looking for some very basic advice/help please... I have recently aquired a 95 Mystic Blue Storm and wanted to perform a basic service/diagnostic test and a few subtle improvements to energise the engine a little... Service - anyone reccomend a good set of spark plugs - there are literally loads to choose from Subtle mods - with the new spark plugs was going to fit new high performance HT leads - again can anyone reccomend a brand and confirm if I need a 6 lead set or a 7 lead set... looking on ebay it would appear that I either have a coil only or coil plus distributer???? Im sure I should know this but tbh I dont. Cant think I have seen a distributer but could just be I havent looked. Finally - is it possible for ongoing maintenance to have my own diagnostic tool/tester - again where do I buy and what brand model etc many thanks in advance Steve
  19. Bill, meeting in dundee would be awesome mate thanks Don't suppose you also have a passenger side wing mirror do you? Steve 07876702282
