Any1 an idea of what colour their wires are or a copy of a wiring diagram that could help me, out? Cheers

Steering rack issues solutions and swaps....

Is anyone breaking a corrado g60 coz im after one of the hoses that runs to the power steering pump??? -
I would say rear engine mount. Check underneath the car at the bottom of the downpipe n see if there is any marking, probably rubbing on power steering pipes.

Off the Shelf Exhausts -How good at handling EXTREME heat?

I have a pretty much standard engined g60 but i'm running a stage 4 charger n 68mm pulley n jabba chip n i have a 2.5" downpipe back customstainless steel exhaust system made and when i'm giving it abit of stick the whole system glows bright orange and throws out some flames when changing at around 6kRPM. does this mean i have a some issues with fuelling etc?? -
Power steering pipes on my corrado have a small nick in them due to an engine mount being duff and a new exhaust fitted. because my car is lowered and everytime i went over a bump it rubbed away against the downpipe. I cannot for the life of me get new ones r even what ones to ask for as i've been to volkswagen and cannot see anything on their diagrams. It's the pipes that run hozitontal along below or inline behind the downpipe and they run out of sum sort of pump just above or behind the drivers side driveshaft. any idea's on part number?? (they're all metal)

Hey guys, here's my problem - I have a 1992 g60 and i had a custom exhaust fitted. Under acceleration i could hear a rubbing sound; and on closer inspection the exhuast downpipe had rubbed away at the pipes the run directly below it and i was loosing masses of power steering fluid. On closer inspection it looks as if the pipes run into the steering rack. Any idea's on what part number either of these pipes might b? I've had the exhaust re adjusted several times but it does'nt make a difference. I'm thinking that it could a mount of sum sort any ideas? Anyone with ETKA help out?

right here's the problem. I own a 1992 corrado g60. Under acceleration a rubbing sound develops. Under closer inspection you can see from the underside of the car that the downpipe has rubbed away at the anti roll bar and just recently burst through the power steering pipe that runs directly below the downpipe. My guess is one of the engine mounts or gearbox mount. The car has been lowered but the rubbing only occured recent;ly an the cars been lowered 4 ages. Does any1 have the same problem?

Im having a similar problem with my g60. How low does ur car sit from standard? The cause of my came down to the downpipe rubbing on the anti roll bar an acceleration. Im still trying to remediate the problem just now -
g60 vs vr6 (covered b4 but looking 4 thread)
Astrasteve replied to Astrasteve's topic in General Car Chat
what sorta power do u reckon my stage 4 jabba charger 68 mm pulley and remapped g60 will be pulling power wise compared to a vr6. so u reckon my mates rite enough then? -
Whats going to be the quicker of the two? A vr6 standard or a stage 4 g60 wi a 68mm pulley an jabba remap and stainles stell exhaust. my mate recons the vr6 will win by a mile.

Car went in for MOT today. Failed for a couple of sillys such as tyre depths and another being the ABS light not lighting up when the ignition was turned on. Since i've owned the car it never worked,it didnt even have any internals,cables- nothing. as far as i was conserned it was just a plastic cover. This needs to be remediated, any suggestions as to how i could go about fixing something to get it through. I was comnsidering trying to see if i could run it from the oil pressure light so that it went out with that. The ABS working so unfortunetly if this is the case, the light must also operate. Abit pernickity i think.

I got one of the last panels vw had, i think every corrado has the same problem. In my opinion it's a pointless panel anyway and i wouldnt really worry about it. i paid 160£ from my local vw dealer.

Try the driveshaft balancer, it's on the drivers side shaft.

Afternoon. Quick query for everyone - you know those weather seals that run along the roof of your Corrado, does anyone know where's the best place to get them besides VW coz they are coming in at £48 each. Mine's have seen better days and i grudge paying this much for seals. Mayb a similar part of another vw may fit. Any suggestions?
