Breaking my other halves corrado as the body work is shot and it won't make it through the next mot without about £900 being spent on it... Car has covered about 120k but the previous owner swapped the clocks for a set of VR6 ones with more miles on. Well, I've decided to take your advice and tell him to shove it. However, I'm in a binding contract thingie via ebay to buy the car. If he fixes it, won't I then be the bad guy if I refuse?

Update!!! I text him this morning as one last attempt at communication and low and behold he replied! :clap: He said it wasn't the Corrado he'd sold, it was a caddy. He says the Corrado has developed a couple of problems, one being it's a bitch to start from cold and it coughs and backfires till it warms up. The other being the ABS light stays on. I offered him £600 to take it off his hands as is, but he said it owed him too much so I came back with £700. Still waiting for a reply! Fingers crossed I'll be returning to the forum properly real soon! :lol:

Pontipridd, I usually get nothing but good things with the welsh dubbers :? The car went right on the reserve price, I think he expected it to spike at the end(to be honest, so did I!). Well I've given him a deadline of tomorrow before I report him and ruin his 100% feedback rating. Ahhh well the hunt continues!

Well I rang the number listed on ebay, which led me to his home. After a brief chat with his mum, I was told he'd sold the car and she gave me his mobile number. Now he's not picking his phone up! :bad-words: Something tells me this thread ain't gonna end well! :sad:

Well I'm having a few problems trying to become a Corrado owner again! :( I won this on Monday night. As soon as I'd won it, I messaged him asking about pickup etc and left my number. Since then I've had no replies. How long should I leave it before reporting him...or am I being a little eager to get my hands on a Corrado again? :cuckoo:

I think he was from Nottingham, not too sure to be honest, all I know is hae had a long drive home when he picked it up! And yes I'll be returning to a certain circle of ownership! But I'm only going for mildly tuned this time. I'm going to drop a 20vt with just a K03s on it. I'm aiming for a reliable 220 bhp and 40 mpg on runs :lol: Can't go too mad, it's gonna be my daily soon. :cuckoo:

How's the gearbox problem going mate?

Well, while some of us were hungover on new years day, others were hard at work... Got some of those Venair hoses and finally got round to fitting them: From to to I also wire wrapped the loom and replaced the heater matrix - NOT fun! :evil: :evil: :evil: I'll be repairing the downpipe and fitting the other goodies soon :D

Bet they're fun miles! :lol:
