Wrong! BIG injectors! 440cc injectors, it says on the side of the that they can flow 44lb/hour, I think I'm going to need a bigger fuel tank and shares in shell!!!!

I saw one in the background of Tomorrow never Dies last night, in the first 10 min.

So when you taking me out for a joy ride? -
When I put my 9" rims on the back, I carefuly ground the arches with an angle grinder and then sealed and painted them.

Don't think my bank manager would agree with you there!!!

Well I want to start saving to move out, but every time I get any money, I end up spending it on the car! I think I may have an addiction! :?
-
That's just it, I don't think I am anymore, I think I've fallen outta love with it. I've spent a lotta time thinking about it and talking with my friends and girlfriend and it's time to move on. :( Look to the for sale section...
-
Thanks  Think she's gotta queue of people who wants clean cars now! :D
-
Don't know about Junkies, but it would deffo interfere with my intercooler. Also, my girlfriend gave the car a clean while I was away, including the engine bay...

Yes mate, Big thanks to you and the guys at G-Werks for building it, it certainly seems to be a sweet engine 8) You'll be seeing me again, as soon as I find the cash for the remap. And no worrys about the hijack. I think the slimline fans are more powerfull than standard ones. Mine doesn't have twin speed so it comes on full power straight away, that's gotta help too.

I'm currently going through tonns of oil as I'm changing it every week cos of the running in! But before the conversion, it was pretty good. I've just hear about some product called Activ 8(?) apparently it's supposed to drop oil/water temps as it sticks to the internal engine components for about 5 oil changes. The Trimsport guys swear by it. May give it a go. I've been to the ring a couple of times, was supposed to be going the week after ED38 this year too, but the conversion has just cost me faaar to much so I won't be taking her this year :( And 350 miles left and it will be remap time...as soon as I find the cash! :?
-
Well I've done about 600 miles and I can tell she wants to go, it's taking all of my self control not to drop the hammer!!! Took it to combe for the VW day yesterday, first long run and it didn't miss a beat! :D

400 miles of running in left! :D

Well done mate, where was that...I've been a little disconnected recently, I've had my head stuck under the bonnet! -
Well, I've finally got it moving all by itself, there's a blow between the manifold and turbo, but hopefully it isn't too serious and it needs setting up properly, but it's alive and parked outside my house again!!! :D :D :D Money Shot...

Cheers for the advice, as it turns out, it was just an airlock.....I think. The pedal had absolutely no feel to it so we tried removing the slave and pumping through, which it did and when the slave was re-attached, it let us bleed it again. Still no good pedal though, so the flexi section just before the slave was gripped to stop flow which gave me a rock hard pedal (testing master cylinder) and after that, the pedal came back to normal! One more bleed, just to test later and it's changing gears again! :D

Yep the pipework's all sorted and I got to start it for the first time! :D 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdf26062007183.jpg[/attachment:f2680] Unfortunately, there's a blow by the turbo! But it's all back together now so once my clutch problem is sorted I can look properly into the blowing! 02072007195.jpg[/attachment:f2680]

Good idea. Cheers Is it possible that because I put the slave cylinder above the reservoir, that I could have caused an air lock in the line? It could just need the union in the line releasing to unlock it???
-
I've just swapped the egnine and box on my car, when I detached the slave cylinder from the gearbox, I removed it and placed it on the scuttle and was carefull not to touch the pedal while it was disconnected. Now I have the new engine etc in, I pushed it back in and done everything up, but now I have no pedal, it seems to drop to the floor like a switch offering no resistance and stays there till I pull it a little and then springs back up again. when I tried to bleed it, it started bleeding out the air, but then stopped pushing any fluid/air out at all and no change was felt in the pedal. Any ideas???

Some of it came from the original Jabba conversion and some of it I've scrounged from various places

Spent the day today mounting my new front mount, re-mounting my radiator and trying to get my head around all of the changes to the existing pipework/new pipework that has to go in! Now I can see why people charge so much for the kits! I'm so close to starting it again after 4 months of it being up on stands! All I need is a silicone reducer pipe and about 3 more hours!
