wow lol everyone must think i am a nut case, i seem to coc* up everything i post on the forum!!!! lol!!! i actually have no idea how those smilies got there!!! lol!

i just fitted my screw comp, wicked sound although e :albino: :albino: :albino: :albino: :elephant: :bigsmurf: :flower: :nuts: :nuts: :nuts: :nuts: veryone thinks there is something wrong with my car!!!! you gotta remember that you should probly have a bigger than standard ic if you are running the bbm! thats what i was told so i had to get a rallye cooler and that meant new pipework, then i have to get a chip, then i thought i may as well get a smaller pully, then cos of power need new tyres!!! its a never ending expence for me!!! just after i bought my charger from bbm, 2 went on sale for about £200 less than usual, have a look if they are still there? dont get me wrong i love the new charger, it's so unique!!!!

changed the the pads all round, bled system, suddenly no hand brake!!! the brake compensator was seized!!! fixed now i think!! should i bleed the brakes again?? do i need new calipers?? when i de-seized the brake compensator, it moved quite freely, wondering how easy it should be to move? maybe it is buggered?? who ever has the time to read this is really nice :-P

that is sooooooo soooo cra* how bout freezin a few bottles of shaving foam over night then opening them with a can opener from the bottom and posting the blocks thru the letter box.... next day house fulll of foam!!!

So i need to get moving and get hold of a cooler for Darren to fit me!! the sprinter cooler is 2 much hassel and the vito van has 2 different types, i know 1 fits but not sure which... :roll: ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANY INTERCOOLER THAT FITS, MENTION IT HERE. LETS GET A BIG LIST GOING!!! YAY!!! :-P

hi, i need a different 2 standard intercooler for my bahn brenner and Darren suggested the merc. vito van one. as far as i can c there are 2 different kinds of cooler; :shock: 1 for the 2.3 and 1 for the 2.1 & 2.2 Darren is not sure which one you used, can you help me out :?: p.s. how is it? :-P

soooooo, hi everyone, i am the owner of this 2l 8v bbm.... wahoooo!!!!! 8) may i just say, isnt my friend chris so kind and helpfull!!!! i have only just noticed how much he has been researching and helping me on the web... such a good bloke that CHRIS CORRADO!!! YAY. :thumbleft: anyway, i can not believe that chris and i have managed to pull this off because, to tell you the truth, i am not very experianced when it comes to mechanics, even tho im really interested! when i went to start the car for the first time in three months last night, i was about to shit my pants!! it fired up first time and i couldnt believe it! it is so amazing! not as fast as the stage 4 used 2 be but need a darren re map and intercooler + probly smaller pully! then it will probly go so fast i wont be able to controll it!! thats the way i like it!!! big love everyone! :mrgreen: :gag:

i will probably be taking my front bumper off tomorrow... im looking to fit a front mounted cooler 2.... not really sure which one to get... merc sprinter= big hassle. merc. veto van darren suggested. if anyone knows of a better one that would not be 2 difficult to fit, let me know. could probly measure up 4 u as most of the stuff is out of the front of the car at the mo. :silly:

well the bbm is on sail at the mo and i think ppl dont realise the price once you convert to gbp from dollars. :oops: sorry i feel stupid but what does "MD afaik " mean? and how do i get in contact with samg60 etc??? thanks

yes mate, my stage 4 blew on the way to gti fest because a friend put a sneaky bit of insulation tape around the induction kit 2 supercharger hose. i was going to get another g60 but i have always loved the noise of the bbm. look in google for the bahn bremmer web site but i think it is http://www.bahnbrenner.com ... simple!!! the guy i bought mine from was, John Betz. mailto:[email protected] i paid about £1450, inc. everything, even a 200 dollar shipping charge :shock: there is also a bloke called mike who lives in england who may have been able to get me one cheaper if i had waiteed. 8)

hey everyone, just a few questions; the sprinter intercooler pipework is 65mm but i think my bahn brenner will be only 60mm??? is that rite?? what problems will i encounter? what do i do about pipework to the new intercooler??? where is the best cheapest place to get or have the piping made?? thanks everyone!!! :thumb right:

no probs, err well all i know is that i have found a company just south of stockholm which makes twin screw compressors for all sorts of uses , i.e. pneumatics, moving liquid gas, drilling equip, de-hydrating soil, etc. all sorts of random stuff... their compressors look incredibly similar to bbm's twin screw compressors. i have a strong feeling that this is where bbm is getting there compressors, but i dont think they get anything else from there. no g60 16v kits, not even the kit to fit the twin screw comp to a g60. i think bbm fabricates that and they just buy the raw compressors form this company. i e-mailed the company asking if they were bbm's suppliers, but no reply so far! i bet they pay something stupid like £200 for each com. .... it just seams silly to pay for the bb to be sent to the us and back!!! $200 just to get back to england!!!!!! :cuckoo:

by the way does anyone know where you get the different pully's for the bahn brenner? im hoping not from bbm cos that voids the warrranty!!! :norty:

wow that is really good!!! :shocked!: well i have saved up for ages now and i think im going to go with the more expensive but more reliable bahn brenner... the only problem is that postage from the us is $200 which i think is mental, :crazyeyes: so i am looking for friends that might be able to bring it back for me as big hand luggage! dont worry mate there is no chance i will ever let any friends touch my engine ever again, it's just not worth it!!!

thanks man, well i have talked to darred and he has been really really helpfull! i actually quite like the noise, but i am sure it would start to really annoy me after a while. i like beigh different tho! i dont know its all so confusing especially when we are talking about so much money! m £1400 is all in, but i am very tempted to do a hard core search for the original suppliers in sweeden!!! i think we should all look and then if we find them we would probly all be able to afford bb kits!!

So my stage4 charger blew up on the way to gti fest at santa pod!!! i hadspent the last few weeks fixing the car up for having a go on the drag strip. little did i realise that whilst i was changing engine mounts, one of my so called friends was wrapping insulation tape around my air hose where the induction kit goes on to make it fit better. half way down the m25 there was a painfull noise coming from under my bonnet! i left the car on the side of the motorway thinking i had about 24hrs b4 the police would tow it(wrong) and got a lift with my friends. towards the end of the day i got a call from darren saying, "is that your black corrado with standard alloys on the side of the motorway? .....well its got lots of pigs round it and wont be there for much longer!" i think "OH Shit!" and get back to the car to find it is not there. the next day i have to get a lift half way back to santa pod 2 pic up the car and suffer a £320 fine!!! not what i needed when the charger had blown! next, the car came out and i had found that the nasty "Kat-Teck" people had severly dammaged my 2 front alloys.... they claimed they were like this, which was bollocks!! WTHESE WERE THE CRAPPEST 2 DAYS I HAD HAD IN A VERY LONG TIME! anyway excuse my crazed chatter im just a bit peved! the main reason i am posting this is to get some advice re chargers. Do i buy another stage4, or do i buy a bahn brenner. * has anyone got one? * How do you feel about it? * Did you get any more power out of it? * Would you say £1400 is a good price for the whole kit? thanks guys!
