cool cheers guys, ive been quoted £100 to change the manifold by a local. does this sound about right?

have just brought my first G60 on sat and she needs a bit of work doing! the gasket on the manifold has gone so i thought i might as well fit a 4 into 1.. is this worth doing on the G60? and how easy is it to change on these would i need to get it up on the ramp or could i do it on my drive? thanks in advance lee

i needed a feed to the fuel relay so i wired a new one in and hey presto she started, just need to get a few bits sorted for the mot now.. took it down the road for a test and i had forgotten how fast it is.. might have to sell the corrado now.

ok its running now

yea it was running till i had a short in the wiring loom. but that is all repaired now. found i can get it to spark and the lift pump working by putting a feed to the fuel pump relay. i have found it has got the k jet tronic pressure pump underneath but not getting any fuel past that. should i be running this system?

hi people, im trying to get my mk2 vr6 going i have got no spark and it is not fueling. now i have tracrd out lots of wires from the coilpack to the ecu and they all seem to be fine. (done a continuety test on them) also when the car turns over im getting a signal at the coilpack.. i have checked out the fuel relay and there seems to be no supply to it. tracing the wires out red & yellow go to the fuse block, but dont get any voltage from it? green & blue im unsure of(think it goes to the air mass meter) red & white i cant trace and white goes to the ecu. can anyone shead any light on what i need to do or if any one knows or has some wiring diagrams i could use it would be most helpfull.

all sorted now told them 200.. and it was cheeper to insure than my golf. lol

just spoke to the bloke i am buying it of and he said he has insured it at 210bhp does this sound about right?

not to sure really.. im picking it up on tomorow, just trying to sort out the insurance and when i said it had been chiped she wanted to know what bhp it had put it up to.. i eas just going to add a few more little horses on..lol

what is the standard bhp of a corrado vr6 and how much roughly would a superchip add? cheers lee

ok maybe i am wrong.. dont really understand the hole offset thing.. maybe they are et25 with adapters 5x130pcd

hi ppl i have a set of deep dish 3 piece porsche split rims 7&8x16et25.. having just brought my first corrado which i pick up on sunday, i want to fit these wheels... what size adapters will i need and will i have any clearance problems in the arches? also what size tyers should i fit to them? thanks lee

well im now a proud owner of a vr6 corrado...pick her up on sunday. all i need now is some porsche wheel adaptors and to get my split rims rebuilt somewhere..

lol got me worryed there... well im off to look at it at 2. so i shall let you know if i have her... not sure what the insurance will be but i will worry about that later lol thanks for you help..

oh forgot to say it is on a k 1992, is there any difference form these to the newer ones? what year did they start making the corrados?

yea i just hope the body is good on her.. i have wanted a corrado for a long time now.. and my mk2 golf has been of the road now for a few months.. it was in a garage for 3 weeks and they couldn't sort it, now its in another where they fit subaru engines in bugs and they have told me it needs rewiring so it could be in there for some time... so im driving around in a banged up old saab and its doin my head in.. just want to get back into another vw...

just had a look at the corrado buying guide.. gonna take a copy with me.. looks quite handy

it has had a new clutch and water pump, full magnex exhaust, superchip, k&n induction kit, eibach lowering kit. koni adjustible shocks, some tsw alloys on it.. but i have got some porsche oz racining 3 piece splits sitting in the garage... cat 2 immobilser, lots of histry and immaculate interior.. what do you think?

hi people, im going to look at a corrado vr6 later today in blackberry pearl metallic.. 110,000 miles will a full ticket on her. is there anyting i should look for and is £3000 a reasonable asking price? thanks lee

its a 2.9 obd1 coilpack engine out of a corrado. 90speck wiring in a 1989 golf. it started to hesitate under load some times, i just thought it was the ht leads breaking up. then it cut out one evening. when looking under the bonnet the engine wiring loom had fallen down and caught the drive shaft which, cut through 3 wires. :x a red and blue, feed to the fuel rail i think. another wire which goes to one of the temp senders. and the 3rd wire, when i traced it back to the fuse block it is not connected. i have tryed a different ecu, and off a acident damaged mk3 golf vr6 i got a coilpack and crank sensor off. and still cant get a spark or fuel. i have power at the coilpack and power at the fuel pump. any ideas? thanks lee
