  1. I found somebody parting a 93. will his window controller box work in my 90?
  2. I bought them for $1000 off of somebody local who decided they wanted the money for wheels instead. I had to raise it up about 2 inches from where it sits in the pics til I get my fenders rolled. These coilovers are wonderful. I just need to find somebody who will align her.
  3. a picture is worth a thousand words!
  4. I don't think the heatshield would vibrate my dashboard would it?
  5. is it possible to change this mount with the transmission still in the car?
  6. thanks guys.. will check it out.
  7. When accelerating, my car vibrates badly when the motor is at 3000 rpms. My front and back motor mounts are fine. Could it be the tranny mount?
  8. They are falken ziex ze512's I think the "rimguard" on the tire makes it look kinda funny. I'm glad the "stretch" folks chimed in and gave their feedback, I was getting worried! (funny how people sit on one side of the fence or the other on stretching) I've been a fan of stretched tires for years. ANyways, I just passed my brake, light and smog checks so I'm good to go. I get my new stickers this evening and will be legal to drive finally. I've owned the car for 6 months and have finally got it on the road. The previous owner neglected everything. Next in line is lowering and getting the glader rebuilt. (besides getting the windows to roll down!) There is a deal on the vortex for B+G coilovers for 1099.00 I think I'm gonna jump on. (I can't be driving a boot around, now can I?) *grin*
  9. isn't that the solution to everything? you guys are starting to scare me.
  10. I was under the impression that 205/40 was a pretty common stretch size for the 16x9s.
  11. The guy putting them on thought I was cookoo... maybe I am. :)
  12. 16x9 borbet et30 -5mm spacers- 205/40/16's are air bags even concieveable, or should I stick with buying coilovers?
  13. Thank you for your knowledge. I'm a big fan of the euro look.
  14. super confusing... I just need to know if my 5mm spacers will be sufficient. And my next question would be about fender pulling/rolling. I'd love to see a pic of what this would look like.
  15. well, I already have 5mm spacers on my raddo right now. Will these allow me to mount the wheels, or will I have to get new ones?
  16. whoops, the size and et were in the topic. lets try this again... 4x100 16x9 et30 will I need spacers? they were on a scion and I want to put them on my 90 g60
  17. anybody? I'm buying these tomorrow, I hope I won't need spacers, but I don't object to them.
  18. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v18/s ... ets035.jpg whats it gonna take?
  19. Is it me, or does it seem that body kits aren't so popular anymore?
  20. Here's the parts car I bought for $300 I couldn't make myself take her apart, so I sold my black one and fixed up this beauty. SO far it's got a 68mm pulley and GIAC stage 2. I replaced the center resonater (holes) with an 18" one. Installed 17" wheels.Body Kit.... When I got her, she had the motor taken apart (blown head gasket) I still have many electrical issues to deal with... (miss my old one) and she has no sunroof.. rare? But yeah, here she is... whaddaya think?
  21. Oh boy, can you say pain in my arse.... So I had a blown head gasket in a car I just bought. If I'd taken it apart myself, I probably could have put it back together ok.. I do not have a manual, but have done lots of heads myself. ANyways, I got it all back together...except the timing belt seems to be loose. I don't know how to tighten up the tensioner... and even worse...as I look down across from the tensioner there is a gear.... it does not spin freely, I try to turn it and it sounds like metal grinding... what is this gear connected to?
