Can I ask how easy it is to change the front anti roll bar
jay w replied to jay w's topic in Drivetrain
Thanks Tom I guess it should be similar.. Plenty of grease and swearing should do it.. -
On the way home today I started to get some knocking sounds when I went round right hard corners. Had a look and the anti-roll bar has sheared where in bolts to the wishbone.. So it looks like I be cycling in to work tomorrow with 70mph head winds..!! I just need to know if this is a job that can be done at home.. Plus what to look out for.. Jay

What is it with the ''I stick to 40MPH'' were ever I go poeple.. So you come up behind them on a 60mph road and thay doing 40mph.. Then the road goes down to 30mph through a small town etr and yep thay stay at 40mph... So you slow down to 30 or just over.. Get through the town speed limit goes back to 60 and yep thay are there doing around 40mph. So you find a spot that safe to over take do the move thay flash there light etr etr.. On you going to fast..!!

Just look at a Corrado 16v for bits for my VR6 most of the stuff was gone but there was a nice momo steering wheel and hub. I was just see if the spline is the same between the two cars, the 16v is a 1990 plate and my VR is a 1994 plate.. If same cool I got a new steering wheel.. :)

To tell the truth thay are sort off the same. Both you can drive around lazyily and cover ground at a pace and then when you what to press on you can. The zed on country roads you realised how big it was..! The only thing is speed the zed would pick and still keep going way beyond the speed limit  Jay

Well people I have yes yes I have got a Corrado VR6.... Took a bit of a round about way of getting one (like selling the 300zx and getting a S2....) but the S2 was sold last night and I won a bid on a black VR needs some bits sorting but she drives great.. Jay

Well I have been trying to sell the 300zx with no luck.. So think about going to a car dealer and trade in the 300. So I went and look at a VR6 purple 1994 Std car 92k on the clock and 2 owners from new the car still has 1st add kit and looks very nice.. So I take it out for a test drive and she drive very nice pulls nice and strong (not as fast as the 300 but thats got 120bhp more) Now here comes the question.. Now when I was driving the VR6 the dash was very rattly, now the sales guy said thay all do that, so do thay.?? It put me off the car a bit. Plus he was asking £4450 If thay all do rattly is this easy sort out.? Jay

Well it looks like I got a buyer for the 300  So I should be looking for a G60 or VR in a weeks time :D :D Jay

Right printed off the buying guide time to have a good read.. I must say I think I well go for a VR, but I do like the idea of G60 for the supercharge novelty if you no what I mean. I well have up to 5k to spend. I guess its time to test drive both 8) Plus just like to say thanks for the pointers and for everyone being friendly too. Jay

Thanks people, well I know what I be reading tonight.! I have to keep a eye out for the next south east meet.. Jay
