o.k im a thick 1st raddo owner, but whats the differance in?
pip replied to pip's topic in General Car Chat
ill add a few more soon before and after of my baby, the real info is that She is A 1966 VW Splitscreen but with a differance of she has 13 windows wich is 2 more @ the rear more than a normal split, which isnt rare, but it is to have a r/h/drive 13 window deluxe (deluxe) is the original trim around the middle of the bus,and dash clock, jailbars in back windows and trim on interior as standard, i run a forum called the: now its for info on the differant kind of splits and not been going long, plus i keep bloody forgetting to do more to it  but from the http://www.ssvc.org.uk and the info we have there is only 5 r/h/drive 13 window deluxes in the u.k,only 2 of them is on the road mine is 1 :D so she is quite a bus,but she also does the miles, roughly i do 2 shows a month, plus meets and from here you know how far everywhere is so she will never be a show winner but she will be there! to have a play click this link and it will give you a chance if you go on the menus @ the top of the page to slam & damn the bus put the differant styles, mod it etc, then youll learn the differant types aswell as have some fun, youll love it click: http://www.busselecta.com/bus/ sos to everyone as ive took off topic,so back on again, cheers for the info on the differance between facelift and non facelift etc, really have learnt something  -
yep looking good  trying to start tricking the raddo up a bit,but moneys tight,so might still be stock by meet but will be there and dead looking forward to meeting everyone  the lads who done the paint are local ie in between porth and watergate  and they are the dogs gooners, all the modded cars you see round kernow they do,but also they love dubs so will look after it and they can do any custom paint and effect you want and i mean that, they aint got a pretty workshop and drive round in porsches there just 2 brothers that love doing what they do  If you have a budget of £300 upto £2k whatever youve got they will try to paint your motor for it where as most have a basic set rate they go on your budget,so there busy and have always got work  was there last night saying hi @ 11pm as they were doing a modded pug in marbling with the owner there helping, thats what i like aswell, they wont do nowt till its confirmed with you and if you want to be there and watch you can and youll be welcomed  as i say they aint posh, but there good, quality @ a price you can afford! If anyone wants to chat to them there number is: 07814 029304 ask for Lee or Antony as lee buggers off around the world in 2 weeks time so things left to 'ant' tell them pip with the split put you onto them  Mechanics on my bus i do myself, cant weld never learnt even though i have a welder  so if i need it i go to my mate shaggy @ newquay Dubstop: 07811 002952 local ie only pentire, more aircooled but wont attempt a job if his never done it so honest guy! if he cant do then i get my mate 'Lee' @ Mountwise garage nr football ground: 01637 871293, proper garage if you know what i mean, but welding he is bloody great, one of my old busses my 72 bay he completely built the front chassis and mounting threads for the beam to attach to as you cannot buy new,in the whole of the u.k i was quoted £1000 upwards and thats to me that knows quite a few places  as its a job thats so difficult cos the metal has to be made and then precise welding for straightness and strenth because front axle has to attach to it! his good, takes his time and is another one where he wont touch unless told to! Not posh but affordable, knows how to do everything, but does get busy! Mostly try and do things myself, but sometimes you need help or proper people and local so this fellas have done me proud

o.k im a thick 1st raddo owner, but whats the differance in?
pip replied to pip's topic in General Car Chat
I think we all have, but its well hidden. 1. Put the wipers on intermittent. 2. Turn the off. 3. After the required delay put them back on intermittent, the time interval will be the time they were off for! It resets to 6 seconds when the ignition is switched off. Well clever set up, shame they didn't make it more obvious. thats 2 things ive learnt :D never knew that happened! bout the only time i want it to rain now so i can try it out  -

 ..i'm glad I was going to fast to see you! I always have a peek at your car when I go past, it did my head in daily when I didn't have a rado for a while! There's another red valver in the area too, I see it parked up near the town centre alot. I think gibber on here has a pretty modded rado, it might be worth checking his members gallery out! a few weeks ago a black raddo was cruising around the town for a while then theres a blue one parks sometimes outside kfc in town but never see the owner, except one followed me a couple of weeks ago to summercourt hopefully meet em soon at this meet @ bude  or anyone going to pod this weekend cos i am
-
your ears must ave been burnin when you went past cos i said to the missis i was gonna pm ya,then blow me you cruised past just enough for me to hang loose @ ya :D im just exporing differant routes as when i have done up my waterpumpers ive sort of done the street/cruise/touring/vw cup look all in one so just exploring and putting some feelers out on cheapest options and budget ways of modding,so keep your ears open for me  that things front end though is ugly thats to extreme  wouldnt go that far
-
been looking @ them aswell  how much did you pay in the end and why did you have to mod it,was it to fit right? or look differant etc? how much did you pay and was it easy to to put on? cheers so far everyone, keep your ideas and info coming, but please dont fall out over stock or modded  a dubs a dub in my eyes and if we all had the same it would be a bloody boring scene
-
been looking @ the differeant styles of rear spoilers you can add on the rear of the corrado, but need some info and help if its o.k  looks like some attach on the original rear spoiler so must be light to allow the movement up and down or do these ones restrict you from having yours go up and down? also seen a few styles but has anyone found a cheaper style? wheres the best place to find them? and the cheapest? how hard to fit right? thought id ask first as some of em are £350 @ least  i cant afford that  so thought id source some help  ive attached some pics of ones ive seen, but if any other styles made or you have info on please put them up
