JUST NOTE TO SA Y dealer can not fine why clutch not working so they are replacing clutch & fly wheel under warranty! :lol:

My mates VW bug will not go into gear was driving fine no slipping or any fault with the gears parked up whent to move off will not go in to gears its a 55 plate no leak from brake cylinder i pumpped the pedal gets a little better could this be slave clinder fault ?? anyone come across this . Thank.

YES has come loose and timming slipped has light valve marks on to of the pistons. I have stripped it down sending the head away to be cleaned and checked over and new valves lapped in all new seals have been claening all round the engine bay think ill send the s-charger away to be done to bit fed up but hay :?

HAVE found out why my cars not running bottom pully had come loose so i re-timmed engine up! still would not start so did another compression test all under 50 psi so will have to take head off change bent valves. well gutted :( :( :( . Thanks for all your help guys.

SO a gas flowed head just as good????? if there not much point in swopping thehead ill not bother thansk to you all anyway. :lol:

OOOWWW U NASTY PASTY you one on them people that picks up on mistakes in stead of helping lol. ( dyslexic ) looked right to me. Anyway i just wanted to knw wat a job it was fitting and wat mods you have to do to ie engine mount inlet manifold an so on going to buy a 1.8 turbo vw unit > I did look at putting it into a specialist but they quted £3700 :?

GUYS any-1 fitted or know any-1 who has fitted 1.8 turbo ???? to there corrado and if so wat sort of a job was it cheers :D

I did charge the battery but made no differance ill changr the sensor i guess this only comes with a new dizzy anyway? thanks for your help ill keep u posted.! :D :?

I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!. I was on the motor way in my k reg G60 and it just started loosing power so i pulled over and the engine just died had a quick look under the bonnet found a plug lead loose got recoverd to to my mates garage so i replaced plugs leads rotor arm and cap still would not start. So checked timming thats all ok did a compression test all reading 100psi i know this is low but battery was getting flat! i changed the coil but still nothing i may change spark plugs again just if an off change they are faulty rare but worth a shot after this i dont know can any one help, o yer i have fuel a good spark 2 !!!! :( :( :(

The timming not out i did check this the comp-test i did shows 100psi on all 4 i know this is low but the battery was loosing power am going to change the coil next after this am really stuck as has fule and a spark!!! i just dont get it but thanks for your input

Guys i need help!! :( driving my G60 it stated loosing a bit of power then a week later i was on the motor way doing 60mph but started loosing power pulled over and the the engine died on me. plulled a plug lead off it fell to bits so i just replaced plugs standard plugs! leads dizzy cap rotor arm still will not fire its getting fuel its sparking and leads are on right iv checked earth lead but still will not fire please help Many Thanks

All sorted removed thermostat will get a new but am happy car can stay now

THINK ITS MUCH WORSE bypassed the matrix for now filled up with warter but water boiled over so i will take out the thermostat and if it still boils over it be the head gasket that got a leak am hoping its just the themostat thats has seized shut and the presure blew the matrix ??????arrrrrrrrrrrrr :-(

I got more flipping problems, I think this is wat has happed the thermostat has seized shut presure bulit up and burst the matrix i then bypassed the matrix ran the engine but the water just over boiled over!!! so now am going to take out the thermoste see if it still boils over if it dose it must be the head gasket arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-(???

Am looseing a small amount of water and finding a damp patch (ok ok iknw what you all are thinking lol) in the osf foot well would this be from the heater matrix?? I have no loss of power or oil so head gasket ok any ideas :?: :?: :!: :!: :wink: :roll: Ps not over heating or any smells ( only from the damp patch ha ha )
