  1. Anyone got any tips on what I should do when I do the chain on my 95 VR6? It's done about 120000 Km, and I will obviously do the clutch, but is there any other things I should do at the same time?. Also does my corrado have the single or dual chain?. I'm a bit unsure what parts I will need so any tips on that is also appreciated. Did search around here, but couldn't find answers to these Q's
  2. Anyone running the 40mm lowering kit from KW, non adjustable. This is the one I talk about: http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_ ... Suspension If so how is it, and any pics of a Corrado with it? Thinking of getting it for my 95 VR6
  3. When I bought my Corrado it was fitted with some lowering kit from Supersport, and I'm wondering if there is any way I can identify what "kit" it is, and also if it's possible to get TÜV papers about it from somewhere? I would need these papers to get it street-legal in Norway, as I'v imported the car. Thnx for any tips!
  4. Goody, thnx m8, do they generally have any oem parts you would need? Soon going to do a "complete" overhaul of the Corrado, before I take it on the roads after winter....:)
  5. Anyone got any tips on online shops to shop corrado parts from in the UK? Was going to order a bit from vagparts, but seem like they are out of business. So any tips greatly appreciated, looking for timing chain, and general suspesion parts etc..... regards
  6. good to hear, you can never go wrong with the NGK and the VR6 anyway...:)
  7. Not sure if this is correct or not, but have read quite a few places that people have had problems with other plugs then the NGK I mentioned above on the VR6, just thought I should mention it. I have no personal experience with any others so couldn't say if it's true or not, but guess other in here can maybe shed some light on it?
  8. you want the ones which isn't platinum, I think they are called NGK BKR5EKU, atleast I'v heard people have had probs with platinums, but guess others can fill in on this. I have been happy with magnecore leads on my Passat VR6 for quite some years now, mine is a bit big for the plastic covers as I think they are 8,5mm, I think you will be able to get 8 mm in though
  9. Can I ask where did you order those suspesion parts for £150?
  10. Ok, no idea myselfe, will try to look into it...:)
  11. Anyone know if there is any number located anywhere on Supersport shocks to identify how much they lower, and also model name etc? All I see is the supersport sticker.
  12. These are original ones AFAIK, so not hand tinted, but for looks theyr like this:
  13. sweet, thnx, hope you don't mind if I eventually get around to do something similar...lol...:) Just regular heat resistant paint from a box then I guess?... thnx again
  14. What did you do to your intake, is it only spray can paint, or?, and did you sand it down before or what? (Have to do something with mine closer to summer, so would be nice to know), maybe also what color it is? (Have blackberry as well and it looked very good...:) ) cheers
  15. Ahh, ok, nothing to bother with for me then...:) I have seen Corrado's with similar rims, any idea what rims they are?
  16. Anyone know if these rims would fit a Corrado VR6? The add: http://www.finn.no/finn/bap/object?finn ... T.svl=Link it's in Norwegian, but basicly says something like this: 245/40-17 ET 15 Bridgestone with Potenza s-03 215/45-17 ET 23 Seem to be 2 different ET's? Thnx
  17. hehe, naa it's most deff blackberry....:) cut out from mail I got from VW Automuseum: "Model: Corrado VR6 Colour: S4 brombeer metallic (blackberry) Date of manufacture: December 13th, 1994" Guess it's the lighting that does it.....lol...:)
  18. thnx, guess it's the light...:) (atleast seem to differ a lot in different light conditions, but like that about it...;) )
  19. Just thought I should update this with some new and (hopefully) better pictures:
  20. Thnx for comments, yea it is def blackberry (from paint code), but I think maybe the pics doesn't make it come out just right (it's the former owner who have taken them, as I haven't been able to just yet), will get back with some more pics later, just i prosess of washing/claying(polishing/waxing etc........:)
  21. btw, is there any overview of how many cars made in the different colors anywhere?.
  22. Yea, there is quite a few G60 going around in Norway (well, not that many actually but), but VR6's are quite rare here.....just thought it was a bit funny with the 1000+ km drive and one other rado.....but I know they aren't *that* rare....;)
  23. just as a side note, was quite funny driving it from Stockholm, only saw one other Corrado on the 1000+ Km we drove....lol...:)
  24. Naa, this one is originaly German (or atleast used by vw in Germany), before it came to Sweden in 1995, then I brought it to Norway this year, but one of the last I guess, and got double airbag, that's why the steering wheel looks odd....lol...:) The Corrado I think was never sold new in Norway, due to high prices (the taxes on a car here is MAD), this one costs quite a bit to import too, but always wanted one, so ......:) (might be 1 or 2 was sold new in Norway, but not more than that I guess).
