lol! Yeah the born again bikers do worry me!!! I have just done a run to brighton for some pioneer run all basically pushbikes with engines. But the older bikers seem to be lethal about 6 nearly had me off today just on the way to brighton!!!

As I have been out of the bike today and had a damn good ride thought I would share some pics of my other toy with you guys!!! post pics of yours up any other bikers! :twisted:

Ok well just a small thing but I think it makes a difference. In an attempt to improve the stealths temperarely I purchsed these: and did this: The result: I think for £9 it makes a nice improvement whilst deciding what rims I am definately gonna have!!!

She seems to have had one of the wings painted and I am gettiong a few bit touched up scuffs and what not!!!

see I really like the black strips on!!! both ur and andy's are lovely!!! Cant wait to get the bbs's on now tho!!!

oh yes she is being spoilt and much looked after!!!

nope from factory like it apparently its a very rare 16v :D and with only 77k on the clocks and all history to back up she is a GEM!!!

As some of you know I purchased my 1.8 16v nugget yellow of someone on here. So I thought I would get my project diary on the go now. Here she is as how I purchased her: First thing to do on day one of driving was new and fit stereo as I do like a bit of music when I am moving and momo gear knob as old leather one had had leather removed and looked and felt rank: Day 2 was time to get rid of thos 6x9's on the back shelf or should I say hide!!!: after a bit of felt, scissors, a screwdriver, some glue and a few clothes pegs: the result: much better!!! Then today arrived the latest addition to the car: Next on list is new engine mounts as current ones are a bit weak! Get body work upto a minter standard and putting back on side stripes and 90mm front splitter aswell as getting amp and 10" sub fitted and rumbling and BBS RM's to be put on. :D

glad I am not the only one!!! There is no looking back for me now!!! I think if I am going to lower it it will be on coilovers so I can adjust to exactly how I want it. Loom on mine seems pretty good dont know if it is uprated or not but the lights are much better than my mrs's mk1 gti cab so I am happy lupo blades on list of minor changes. Steering wheel arrived today and is so going on!!! Its fucking lovely!!! BBS rm's on next weekend yay!!! Hoping this weekend coming I get time to run cables to amp and sub!!!! Need bass just have the dash speakers at the mo and although amazing quality it needs more of a kick!!!

yes I really do mean £1500. I nearly had a heart attack when they told me!!!! Thanks for that didnt know audioscape made them wil call them and have a chat! I have been offered one so will wait and see what happens.

Where do I get one??? I have spoken to 2 comapnies and they want £1500 or so for a 10" sub box. Surely there is a company who make them no??? Help in finding one or a company who are stupidly priced would be great. Thanks Tony

... and all I can say is wow!!! From the MK2 Golf to my raddo is a different world. I was worried I would not enjoy the raddo as much as my old golg due to power steering and the fact I love my old golf. But after 4 months of waiting she was worth every bit. I am so happy with her I am now considering not modding her at all! On friday I bought a new steering wheel for her and I may not even fit it!! The handling is amazing its so comfortable and smooth and although not as cosmetically as nice as a lowered one I am so warey of lowering it incase it impares the fantatsic handling!!!!! Currently she is on 15" stealths which as of next week is going to be pleasently swapped for a set of bbs rm's the same size. The side stripes are being put back on and the missing front splitter replaced and a 3 slat grill installed. I will install my small sound system I want and then I cant see me doing muych else........ Is this ODD???? I love modding cars but I really dont want to change this one at alll!!!! Sorry to ramble bit of a crap post but I am so pleased with my car!!!

Is this mod really worth doing and can any one put of pics of how they look on the car compared to standard! I ahvent seen the difference before and its been so long since seeing my raddo loL!

so will 4 guage do the trick as my m8 has offered me 5 metres of 4 guage cable for cheap and its good quality gear! Will 5 m be long enough????

what if i was to double up the cable! run 2 10guage cables from the battery to the amp???

Hi guys, I have a 4 channell JBL amp which will soon be powering 2 infinity 6x9's and 1 10" jbl sub. The amp is 4x104watts rms. I have just bought a amp wiring kit but I am not sure if this will be powerfull enough as the cable is only 10guage! It does have a 30amp inline fuse but dont want to melt the cable. Do you think I need to get a lower guage (more powerful cable_ or do u think it will be ok. If I am running 5 metres of say 4 guage power cable into my fused splitter box, then 10guage for 1/2 a metre to the amp will I need to run better earth cable than 10guage even tho its only 1 metre long. Help please. Thanks Tony
