  1. Andy655 I am loving those wheels mate! I have bever seen them before A+ for effort. BenSurf- Cheers mate. I am very glad I kept it.
  2. Yeah I know. Would have been hard to have found one as good I think. Plus I couldn't afford a strom for a long while.
  3. beeftech - nice raddo mate! Swapped the rm's for my tyres and wheel adapaters. I was gonna put the rubbing stripes back. I even have them in my shed. But I have now decided to leave them off as having a full respray. storm warning - Bit much for me the yellow interior I think! I quite like the black leather as it is.
  4. no I drilled pilot holes in the place then screwed with fine screw by hand. U cant see the black tape makes it snug. Hope that helps :)
  5. ok MAMOUTH UPDATE!!!! All things I have done since last update!!!! On my way back from picking up some of my mates. My back box decides to remove its self from the rest of the system so my car now sound like an out of tune tractor! So guess what my next purchase will be.... Its stainlees! The damage: On a happier note I did pick up some parts from GSF, (on the bike obviously) and also thanks to Martin, (lupogtiboy) I now have a 50mm splitter which is now fitted. YAY GSF parts included engine mount, wheel bearing, rocker cover gasket set and inlet manifold gasket set. Martin also supplied me with 2 O'rings for my weepy water flanges! Turned out the rocker cover Gasket was wrong so went and swapped for correct one! and 99p ebay bargain exhaust box arrived and fitted. . I then got fed up of the shite plastic plates that were losing their backs etc. so.... bought these: Steel pressed British Plates YUMMY! This was all about 6 Months ago. I will add later pics of cut down gear knob, cracked wind screen, ipod bracket and fuse box cover that was missing. I found out a peice of my lower dash was missing infront of the fuse box. So snapped up one from the Corrado forum. Ages Passed and didn't do anything to the car. I randomly one day decided to cut the gear leaver down. Quick throw gears here I come. Most recently I purchased one of the New Ipod nanos as I ahve all my cd's on mp3 at hom and had, had enough of the 1000's of cd's in the car. As my JVC cd player has a front imput and I dont ever use the car phone. I removed the head set for the car phone and replaced with a mobile phone holder bought for £6 which I modified and mounted to the in car phone bracket. So not to allow the wholes in the dash to be on show. This will prb be the last update this year with moving house and all but I will update any changes I do make. Well as some of you know. I have just moved into a house so went to my dads swapped my yellow beast for a big red van to move with. Anyway yesturday I went to swap them back! After a little wealing and dealing behind the scenes. Involving Ebay and the dubmarines forum. My car now looks like this!!!! Sex on wheels with strecthed tyres yummy! Now I just need some centre caps!!! Other week I got bored and ended up removing the very 80's car phone. I have also now rec'd and fitted these!!!! As some of you know I put my car up for sale due to finances and not being able to make her how I want her. But I couldn't do it. All because of these pics. I have about 3 weeks left of driving her and then she is off the road for a year for some serious maintainence. Lots of updates to come. Keep yours eyes peeled!!!!
  6. I had same thing on my car. Turned out to be leaves in the skuttle making water build up and come in. Since I cleared it its been sweet as a nut! :D
  7. I am gonna strip the rear seats out of my car. Seen it a few times on corrados looking for ideas how do board out the back and hide the sub. What have u got???
  8. HI folkes! I have a 1990 1.8 16v Raddo. I quite fancy a miltek system. I dont think mine has a cat! If I was to purchase a cat back system how would it fit? I am thinking miltek as my gf had one on her sportline cabby and it sounded amazing. Do I need the cat replacement pip even if I dont have a cat???? What would my exhaust attach too?

I will ahve a look at the cv joing and wiggle the driver shalfts about! I will do all alignment once dropped in Feb! Before then not much point due to lowring tends to throw everything out! Could it be bushes or anything such as?

  15. Hi guys! I have just fitted Design 90 porka rims to my 1.8 16v raddo. I am using delta mic's adapters which are steal. The rears are 8" wide and the front are 7" wide. I have a 320mm steering wheel and I belive my car is lowered 40mm soon to be 60mm. Unfortunately when I get to about 70MPH I develop an annoying steering shake. Its not rough its quite gentle but its annoying. Ther wheels were balanced before fitting. I did have a slight shake on my steering with my ole bbs rm's. These were only 6.5 inches wide and I was runing 50 profile tyres not 45's like I am now. I just put the shake down to 2 slight ding in both the front outer edge by the previous owner of the bbs but its worse with these D90's. Anyone know what could be causing it. I have spoke to a mate who is a tyre fitter and asked if balancing the wheels with the adapters on would make a difference as they are 20mm thick he said maybe.... Anything else anyone could suggest. I can't drive through it does it all the way upto its top speed from 70mph. :? Thanks Tony
  16. Right I am looking at coilovers for my 1990 raddo! I dont want it stupidly stiff but firmer is good I want it farely low. Its going on 16" design 90's. Ak Kit http://www.venommotorsport.com/images/p ... ch/kit.jpg Supersport http://www.venommotorsport.com/shop/Sus ... ntent.html Thanks in advance for replying in a much covered subject! Tony
  17. Cheers mate you are a star! 195/45's it is!!!!
  18. Hi Guys, Just bought some Porka design 90 16's - Rears are 8" and Fronts are 7". I wondered if anyone has this combo on there car and what size tyres they run. I have spoke to storm developments and they advised me to run 195/40/16's front and back. Anyone know if 195/45.16's would be ok? Also how low I could go as looking to get hieght adjustable coilovers soon. Thanks Tony
  19. Good work! Honda s2000s need to be put in there place a bit!
  20. Hope you like. Thanks for looking. :D T...
  21. Well after much research it appears only one company make an exhaust for my car! Jetex. All the others appear to need other pipes made up to cover the area the cat should be. Thanks to Vince from stealth! So thats on my list of purchases now. Thanks Tony
  22. 1) You don't have a cat, no 1.8 16v's did. 2) You can't use a cat back system on a 1.8, even with a de-cat pipe as it won't mate up to your downpipe and even if you swap that for a 2.0 16v downpipe (intended to mate up to a cat) you'll find that the hangars on your car are the hook type and won't support the bar type hangars on the catalysed cars/systems. I short, you need a system designed for a 1.8 16v. David. Which doesnt exist!!!!! According to every vw supplier I have spoken with! So whatr the f**k am I meant to do???? :(
