nice one mateas it happens the brake light warning keeps coming on but the bulb aint blown mess with it and its ok!!!!! i took the car to a mate of mine with a garage i didnt know till then had a vagcom it came up with 17544:unknown also 17833:unknown.dont suppose anyone knows what these mean??? is there a solution with the brake lights the connections all seem ok?????

were is the mass air flow sensor.mate

I know what you say makes sense but im a hard working little paid bottom class citizen thats saved like crazy to get my ideal car. now im skint im having probs i take it there is no easy fix solution....dont say well if you cant afford to run the car

do i need to reset the computer????? i need help boys!! ive got an a3 quattro 2001 my engine management light came on. disconnected the battery and it was ok for a few days then it came back on i got someone to look at it and he found a air pipe from the rocker cover to air intake had split. i had that replaced disconnected the battery the light went out.everything was now the light has come back on!!!! there is no loss in power no change any way or form any ideas boys is there a way of resetting the computer rather than getting the arse ripped out of me at the main dealers

ye that maybe so but i want to drive my car and listen to my music, not just look out the bedroom window at it, although i could always open the bedroom window put the hi-fi on and listen to music like that,just like you use to when you were a kid listening to music sat in a ford capri on your dads drive :mad: :lol:

sorry boys it aint a corrado,but ive tried all the audi forums.ive got an a3t quattro i recently fitted an alpine head unit,now the alarm goes off when it likes,usually late at nite or early sunday mornings,took it to an auto spark who fitted a switch live to it .ive cut no wires i bought the right adaptor the alarm still goes off :cry: .i spoke to audi dealer and they said audi fitted a system on some cars were the stereo is removed the computer senses its gone and the alarm goes off :!: is this true :?: if so can anyone please tell me how to get round it :?: if not does anyone want to buy an alpine head dvd 6 disc changer with pop out screen...

can anyone?? help my fuel guage on my a3 1.8t quattro sometimes says empty after filling, i can fill the tank park the car for a couple of hours start the engine and the fuel light comes on and vice versa it can be close to empty and show 3/4 of a tank at first i thought it was heavy on fuel.£30.00 will get me about 150 miles steady driving is this right??anyone give me advise please
