fitted my ddi's they look awesome and work well, BUT! when i fitted the dial rings a few days ago, the illumination on the bottom line of the fuel/temp. gauge is covered by the dial ring? so only a tiny bit of the illuminated line is visible, it's fully visible on the speedo and rev counter. anyone else suffer from this problem?

I am fully aware that the corrado vr6 was not made in 1996, and that my car was only registered in 1996 and not manufactured in that year. the reason I stated '96 was so it was clear that my car is a last of line model. as I am not aware if the wiring diagrams differ between 94 and 95+ models. so am i correct to assume that the '94 wiring diagram will apply to my vehicle?

Pluged it into a gendan code reader and it comes up with 463A = 17978/P1570 - Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer. also 0231 = 00561 - Mixture Adaption.

my new spark plugs have arrived, NGK BKR5EKU. but the ones in my VR6 are NGK BKR5EKUP. What's the P mean??

yep it's a VR6. alot of the alarms loom is under the dash on the passenger side. which is also where the old and new audio wiring is. the car has ISO blocks and all i added was a new cd changer lead which runs to the boot, as RCA's and power cables have all been reused from the previous install. i'm not sure what make the alarm is? is says CONLOG on the alarm remote [dealer fit?] , also there is a slot for the alarm remote to plug into built into the tray underneath the glovebox which i had to unplug to remove the lower dash section to change the audio over then reconnect after, it has a removable plug. the prevoius owner said the alarm just stopped working one day, about 1 and 1/2 years ago. with the factory immobiliser wouldn't it cut out after 5 seconds?? or is that only on the newer dubs? and not immediately, also the way it stalls, the revs drop slowly and it dies, not a clean cut if you know what i mean. if you try and rev it, it still stalls? what circut does the factory immobilser disable??

right a small issue has arose with the C. up until last week the C would start first time everytime, then last week after changing all the audio over the problem started, i finished changing everything over, started the car and it stalled, thought it was strange but didn't think much of it. the car was then running for about 5 minutes, when the horn came on! i turned the engine off and the horn stopped, turned the ignition on and the horn came on again, did this a few times and then i pulled the fuse out. now when i start the C it stalls immediately, at first it would start and run on the second attempt, but it seems to be getting worse takes 3 or 4 attempt to get the C running, once the engine is running the car doesn't stall. and also if the car's warmed up it does the same thing unless you start the engine as soon as you turn it off. the C has an alarm, but it doesn't work, and i think the removal of the old and installation of the new audio has maybe distrubed the alarm wiring in some way or another?? or is it just a coincidence?? any ideas?? i'm gonna pull out the old alarm today.

got a funny squeak from the rear of the car, but goes away if i'm on the brakes, also at very slow speeds there is a buzzing noise but as soon as i touch the brake pedal [enough to make the brake lights come on] it goes away? it just passed an MOT at main dealer to.

do late VR's come fitted with total closure as standard??

checked it with the sunroof open, windows don't go up but the sunroof closes, when you lock the door. any ideas why the windows don't close with the key? also are the windows ment to close with one touch off the button or hold it down?? they open with one touch. -
i need to get a new alarm fitted, as the one on the car doesn't work. i've been told that my C should have total closure, but if i leave the windows open and lock the car door [central locking works fine] the windows don't close? is there another way to check if the car has total closure? also anyone have a wiring diagram for the C?

if it still looks that mint go for it, 120k isn't alot for a car of this age, + the main bits have been sorted and like you say the mods you want have been done already.

hi all, when i move off and also whilst moving in 1st gear the gear stick wobbles around alot, only happens in 1st gear though, not noticeable in other gears. any ideas? worn engine mount?

what bulb fitment is the dipped beam on the in-pro headlights?? and while were at it what fitment is the main beam? just saw on another post H7's for both, is that for the in-pros?

ok that's that issue sorted too, never driven a car with such a stiff pedal.
