I believe it senses the air temp around the manifold and activates the rad fan accordingly, this is what causes the fan to 'run on' after the ignition has been swithched off.

there are 2 black cotten braided vacuum hoses that connect to the back of the throttle body, one is for the ECU and the other goes to the carbon cannister, the ECU hose connects to the top outlet, if these are the wrong way round then it causes the ECU to go into 'limp' mode and the side effects being black smoke, high feul consumption and generaly crap running. :wink:

Im overhauling my G60 throttle body and was wondering weather it would be benefitial to change the 4 small butterfly shaft bearings, can u get these parts seperatly and is there a procedure for changing them, if anyone has done this id' be greatfull for the info :) cheers guys!

when you say doorhandle switch wires do you mean the ones that come from the handle as mine are the heated ones

my alarm does incorporate window closure and i have heated seats even though i have that horrible grey cloth, migth turn into leather one day if im lucky :) , think ill have buthchers behind that panel card then

saying that i visited a breakers recently and saw very similar looking handles in an Audi 80, the plastic surround looked different though, could these be the same handles but with a different carrier?

where do you get the early mk2 style chrome handles from, all i have seen are the mk 3 ones :?

i have a clicking sound coming from behind my n/s rear 1/4 card :roll: it sounds like the noise when a relay goes bazerk!! should there be any electrical components in that region, i thought all the relays were on the fuse box, if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated :wink:

sorry i meant the powerflex bushes, i havnt fitted them yet, i still have standard ones on the car

thanks james, the rear bushes ive got are purple, i had a look on the knowledge base and it has a photographic guide on how to fit the OEM ones. looks a pain in the arse if u havn't got the right tools and equipment

I have a 1992 corrado g60 and i am planning to replace all of the standard bushes with powerflex items, on examination of the rear axlebeam bushes i noticed they look completly different to the stock ones, has anyone fitted this kit?
