Hi, Got a leaky heater matrix, I can see it leaking from the "box" behind the centre consol just to the left (and up) of the clutch pedal. The leak appears to be from the top of the unit. Can these be fixed? If not then any ideas where to get one from? and mine is a late 1995 VR6, does it have to be from a late model? Seen the info on removing the matrix without the dash..... sounds like a big job..... Thanks Steve

Blue J Plate in UWE Car Park 20, Bristol, Monday 6pm Nice Split rims, Crystal Back lights and NO REAR BUMPER???? This has to be someone here -
They're nice, the springs are fairly rigid but not over the top, and the shocks have plenty of adjustment on them. Athough I think you would never use the very softest as you lose the feeling of the road, I've got them set of half soft/hard and it's a nice compromise of comfort and handling. The rears seem to go a bit harder than the fronts, but I've just put new ones on the back so not sure if thats got anything to do with it. BTW not had a great amount of experience with coilovers so can't really compare that much. The best handling car I've ever had was a MK1 GTI with Ebach springs and uprated gas dampers (lower strut brace, poly bushes and 195/45/15 Yoko A539's)

The thing I really like about the paint on it is that it seems to look good in any situation. (By the way it had just been washed) When its sunny its a really nice metalic green When its clouldy it gets that really nice dark sleek look in the pics At night or under street lights its almost black!! like my avatar pic The car is sitting on a set of AVO fully adjustables (GTZ's) but I think the secret is that its only been given a small drop, so it looks standard (like its how it was supposed to be) and makes the wheel fit the arches better. I think if I put it any lower then it would look wrong, also it would lose travel and handling. Its just perfect on speed bumps as well.

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question but what is that and where can you get it Thanks

unfortunately yes - actually never been there and don't want to either as I said earlier the Spingo is a better way to spend an afternoon - thats if you can avoid the open drains ........."Helston drivers soon learn how to parallel park with precision"

The lights came on the car, I personally don't like them much they look good from a distance but their too dark when you get up close. Prefer the look to the originals but am thinking about changing them (reversing lights are almost non existant as well)

Thanks for the replies, Decided to go ahead with the WD40: Took off visor, to get a good angle on it Wrapped it in a cloth to protect the cream colour from staining, Very gently (with the straw) sprayed WD40 down the small groove where the rod enters the visor. A small amount at a time cleaning any excess with tissue. After each squirt twist the rod until it moves freely. (this took quite alot of spray). Seems sorted now, but not sure if it will have weakened anything inside - will let you know. Now to find another small and insignificant job to do to distract from the bigger and more expensive ones!

Hopefully someone has seen this before, The passenger sun visor has got soo stuff, I think one day someone will move it and it will break off. It does't come apart but there is a tiny grove along where the rod goes into the visor that I might be able to get WD40 into, but not sure this will help. The visor is cream so not sure how many others are about, or if attempting to lube it will stain. Anyone had this with theirs?? or any ideas? Thanks
