And thanks Mods for moving the post; must confess I didn't read the description under 'Suppliers Forum', and I assumed it was a forum for suppliers, rather than about suppliers. How to make a good first impression! Anyway, had a read over some of the comments on Star and Donaldson Bros. I think I might take the car into Donaldson's soon. Anyone know roughly what a service is likely to cost? (I know, it depends on what work needs done, but ball park figures assuming the only things needing replaced are the air/pollen/oil/fuel filters).

Hello folks, Just taken delivery of a '94 Corrado VR6 after many many years of wanting one. It seems to be running fairly well for a car of its age, but I'd like to have it thoroughly checked and serviced to make sure its running as well as it can. I thought it'd be worthwhile asking in here to see if any of the scottish/glaswegian members have any good/bad experiences of garages in this part of the world, before I pay some cowboy mechanic - who may have never seen a VR6 - a fortune for nothing. Was thinking of taking it to Verve (joking!), the Donaldson Brothers or Capaldi & Milligan (both indie VW specialists in Glasgow). Anyone know if these guys are much cop with Corrados? Or anyone have any suggestions of a better place to go (without driving hundreds of miles!)? Cheers, Petros
