I plan to use some pipe cladding to replace the foam in that area when i replace my fuel lines but worried it may hold moisture ?

Hi guys, newbie here with a Vr6 swapped Rado, and i have noticed a lot of parts for our cars are now NLA and fetching silly prices ! I need some indicator lenses (amongst other bits !) and have thought about trying to make some using a casting resin that is very popular on youtube. Here is a link to a video where someone casts some BMW Isetta lenses........has anyone here tried this or got the stuff to do it ? as one could then also make many small NLA parts like the Mk1 speaker grills and the rear hatch hinge covers etc etc . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WME8R2-Ot8E
