    Vr6 BBM?

Hay guys. does anyone know a way of mounting a BBM screw charger on a VR6? Im selling one and i have a guy really interested in it if he can get it somehow on his VR6. Thanks Paul.
  2. Ok got the news! and not good news either! Number 4 Piston has melted :(
  3. ok thanks dude! i will keep you updated to let you know thanks again paul
  4. yer i thought of it being the gasket and my coolent doesnt stay blue for very long! just a lil wierd for a metal gasket to go after a year from a engine rebuild!
  5. no we just bolted it in! as soon as the oil is put in the engine and turned iver it would then be covered in oil. What is the advantage of priming it? thanks paul
  6. hay guys just seeing if any1 has had the same epxeriance. i changed my oil pump, spark plugs and coolent. took it for a drive, then got white smoke and the car (smell like burning oil) just didnt run properly the spark plugs are covered in oil, and white smoke even from the spark plug, hole its at my mates garage at the moe and he compression tested it and there is no compression on cylinder 4. so hes taking the head off. any ideas people thanks paul
  7. dude thats fcucking awsome! Family Guy Rocks! cant wait for season 8 on DVD lol
  8. havent checked if the fan kick in or not! but its mainly slow driving and stand stills! but if i put my foot down and go like 60 MPH+ the car begins to cool down, but thats what we would expect when the coolent is flowng faster! i will change the thermostat tomorow and flush the system and renew the anti freeze aswell! hi siman good to hear from you buddy! beleive it or not im goin management lol getting my mate at backdraft motorsport to hook me up there pretty good there! i cant remember what brand though, not emerold like kevin at jabba said...even though i have high trust in him and the rest at jabba im passing my car onto some other people for now! Thanks Paul x
  9. hay guys, today my G60 was getting hot rather quick! and is sounding quite sloppy during idle! its never really done this after the engine rebuild and the thousands i spent on it! the coolent is little bit brown, which im changing at the end of the month when i put my lightened flywheel, organic clutch, new oil pump and race spec spark plugs. Any ideas on what the problem is? And if you think the work i do in 2 weeks will help? Thanks as always Paul x
  10. ok thanks guys! im goin to crack on with it to moro, im goin to remove the bumper to proceed with it, but i noticed todat that my intercooler i bolted to the rad an sites a lil more to the passenger side so when i have done what i have there will be an 4 inch gay looking straight into the engine bay to i mite just ge a sqaure number plate ande cover it up, i will take pics and let u know how i get on. Thanks ~Paul
  11. Hay guys, im sure this has come up a few times, iv started to cut out the number plate section of my front bumper with my dremel coz i have a large front mount intercooler so it will be a direct cold air feed, as Jabba Sport did with there track Corrado and i have seen other people do it also! Iv got about 4 inches in and got to a large metal plate, any ideas to get through it if your have done this b4? Thanks Paul P.S: G60 Newman Performance Cam On E-Bay Item Number : 160311220135
  12. hay bro i sent u a personal email! erm not ot great news but could be worse!
  13. Yer Jabba have it in stock! so its worth it u suspose, just more money :( but resulves the issue it resulves the issue....
  14. yer its a flowed head by the engine shop.. problem is aswell my mate at backdraft motorsport said map sensors only go to 1.5bar. Iv been on the BBM site and using the 53mm pully will be 1.3 car rather than the 50mm which im using now and produces 1.5+ bar So im feeling that the 53mm pully is the way forword and resolve the issue! what do u think? Thanks Paul
  15. Hay guys. My G60 is being mapped and set up and we put the 440cc injectos in and the fueling is perfect! im running the 50mm pully with the BBM charger, 1.9 bore, piper cam etc and at low end its great power like 190BHP at 2000 revs but as it gets to 5000ish the power just falls and tryd to go over 1.5bar of boost and be comes unstable and un efficient. HAs anyone else had remaps with the 50mm pully on BBM screw charger and have problems? Please help Thanks PAul :help: Thats the power graph so far
