Look what I did today...... Yeyyyyy!!!! :D Well thanks to G60Griff for the lovely Magnex exhaust and meeting me half way....... TOP BLOKE (And lovely looking "C") - Cheers fella Anyhow...... On one of my mission days so wipped of the old exhasut..... Never done this before either :? Came off with not too many problems really.... I only started scratching my head when there was no joining piece from the back box and over the rear axel :?: :?: :?: :? So out came the grinder and away it came.... Lined up all the new magnex system..... Bolted it together and hey presto!!!!! Sweet as a nut.... Still can't beleive I managed to do this myself while only on axel stands :D Oh yeh..... Change the suspension over to FK Coilovers... Courtesy of Darren (Gworks)-- Nice chap!!!! And heres the pics

Ahhaa a person that is actually running 9Js at the rear.... Please save me the headache and tell me what I need to do, seen as your probably the best advice I can get..... :? Although a thanks to everyone else who has been giving me advise!! :oops:

Flat it back down and start spraying in fine layers again....

Sorted.... So on a Wide track Corrado VR the rear ET needs to be around ET27 to clear the coilies and maybe just miss the arches.... The fronts need to have an ET35, so when I find the offsett out on a 8x16 d90 I'll be able to work out the thickness of the adapters needed... Phew!!!!! All complicated stuff..... :?

Nice one mate... So purchasing the 25mm adapters will be the way forward??? Am I right by thinking the adapters can only be purchased in 5mm at a time like 5,10,15,20,25 etc.?? I'm planning on running 8J's at the front... Presumably the 25mm adapters will be perfect for them???? :)

I see what your saying and have often thought that too, but I just love the stance of a wide ended Corrado.... So if they are something like 55 or 53 with 25mm aapters what would that bring the offset to????

Don't worry about Jobs that he does for a profession..... If he's an expert I'm sure he'll mention parts of the bodywork that may need replacing!!!! Although it may be hard to fund things like this, don't always look at cutting corners to save on costs. If the price difference is a couple of hundred "pay it" because if you don't and it turns out not as good as you hoped!! you'll realise that couple of hundred was nothing in comparison to respraying it all over again... Ok guys..... Just alittle advice if I may ???? :roll: So I've got a VR which is wide track...... What I'm thinking is running with 16x9 design 90s at the rear with 25mm adapters.... Will I have major issues with rubbing??? The last thing I want to start doing is messing with my arches!!!!! or shall I just stick with 8's.... I would prefer 9's as I love how fat they look from the rear... 8)

just try a chiped S3 before you sign on that dotted line Dove a chipped S3... Yeh I agree rapid piece of kit... but it still isn't as Evil as that 3.2cc lump.... That will always win it for me every time... S3 engine sounds no different from a Golf 1.8T.... Just a bigger turbo really..... This will be like the Corrado..... A legend... 8)

The 1st picture is the rear leg that i took off... The 2nd picture shows the rear leg in and just above the the silver top plate is the top mount.... The 3rd pic is the front leg which i forgot to put the top mount back on before I took the pic... Am I still doing anything wrong???

hmmmm..... always thought you were a bit of a w4nker but that just proves it.... yes there are people out there who may milk it, but for everyone of them there are those who are genuine - I had 2 disabled brothers and being the only driver in the family I had to take them places, 9 times out of 10 we struggled to get a disabled space and they were forced to have to walk - when one of them died last year we gave up the disabled badge cos it was as good as pointless... at supermarkets I drop them at the door and drive over when finished unless its 2am and its completely empty, and even then I would only do it if my brother was with me... people like you deserve to have your car dinged and smacked about in the carpark, i'll do it myself if I ever see it - ******..... If you read my post Properly you'd see i said I'm sure disabled people do use them!!!! I'm not knocking genuine people... My point was there are many out there claiming disability wen they shouldn't be and thats fact..... Do you personaly know how many people are falsely claiming Disability premiums... I work for the departments and come across this daily!!!! W4anker!!!..... Whats all that about!!!... You don't know me and how dare you have the ordassity to call me one...
