I thought that, thats what the whole point of having a Forum is to share good practises?? Well I haven't heard anyone rave about them yet so... I'll leave em!!! The last thing i want is to go through the hassle of putting them on and wishing I'd never of got them in the first place....

So the general concensus of AVO Coilovers are ????

vr6storm, Cheers.. Why avoid AVO though.. I can remember the Mk2 Golf days and people ranted and raved about them... Is anyone currently running AVO's???

Have a chance of getting a set of Avo Coilovers at not a bad price!!! Anyone got them on their VR6??? Speedy response appreciated.. Cheers Guys

Sorry to see your Letting it go Jay!!! Reading through all the posts, It worth what someones willing to pay... I personally know a couple of lads that came into the VW Scene, didn't have a clue how to do these mods but had the money to play with!!! These guys were more than willing to Pay a premium price for a car that was the Dogs B*llcks... £12k for Mk2 Golfs.... Your not daft!! and sure your clued up with a realistic figure... Someone will be along wth the readies soon... All the best mate...

I'm using a Guy called Steve in Stoke-on-trent to do mine.... From feedback he does seem to be a Pure VR6 nutter and knows them instide out.. Does the Job for around £500-£600

KADVR6, From your pics its lowered just nicely!!! How much more can you go on your!!! What about the price think they're £289.99 something like that plus postage which is about 20euros....

The Base of the 2 legs that slide in the runners... They clip onto the feet of the chair then, slide the leg into the runner...

The rear legs of the seats that slide into the runners have plastic white clips that attach to the legs before you slide the legs into the runners.... Usually if they are broken or worn you will get wobble on the seat fo site to side.... Your either missing them both or just one has broken... Replace them and all should be ok... These are qute universal so ones from a Mk1 or Mk2 golf will fit too..

Even at the fronts??? I heard you struggle with a VR cos of it being wide track etc!!!

In general whats the widest wheels that can be fitted to a VR without catching or having to make alterations??? Looking at some rims for the "C" seen a couple at 8.0 and 8.5 will these be ok.... Probably BBS!!! 5x100
