J50DUB, I've got a brillinat bunch that do all my painting for me. !st class, real backstreet garage but i can assure you they have painted some top motors, I've had loads done from them and always been happy with the finishes.

Ok guys just a quicky :roll: Going to look at a VR6 tonight with 145k on the clock..... :shock: :shock: mechanically apart from ratling chains and tappet noise, tensioners etc... is there anything else i should look for which has major expense attached to it???

Just clocked 173k.... Been very well looked after, with bills going back to purchase date Uming and aring about selling it to get a VR6.... In 2 minds at the mo

I've had this Alarm for sometime, I purchased a couple of them a couple of years ago.... I've put them on various cars I had, With a little help from my fellow friends.... (Which he now lives abroad) :? Anyhow, Seen as its sat doing nothing and I need to replace the Crappy Quantum alarm.. I have here a TOAD A200..... Im want to have a go and fit this myself.... Just hoping someone on here can give me a help in hand ?????

Gave it a good wash today.... Paint work looks really well once washed n cleaned up!!! Next step will be to give it a polish :roll:

Mate... Thats bad sh*t!!!! I'll have a tailgate glass soon, which you can take... Replacing my tailgate as a complete unit, so this ones yours if you want it... I'm sure everyone on hear can get the other bids of glass needed. Claim off insurance for front windscreen, and you'll only be left with getting it painted... There is light at the end of the tunnel.....

I've owned a Vr6 before and this one is my first G60. Basically IMO the G60 is a very fun street racer.... I will say Its great fun but i do miss my VR6 when i'm doing abit of traveling on the Motorways.... I think this is where the VR6 comes into its own cat'ry, Its a pure Motorway cruiser.. So it all depends on where the majority of your driving or fun is done!!!!

Haven't Done much with The Car recently :cry: , so got home after work and decided to pay it some attention :D Read the thread about cleaning the lenses out and darkening the headlights out, so off to work i went...... Engine was filthy dirty too after the long oil leak! So got some of that Engine Gunk stuff from Halfords.... Painted over everywhere possible, giving it loads of coats!!! Here's the finished product.... Oh yeh painted over the silly gold coloured Golf badge at the front.. Kept thinking i was driving a Clio williams

Got to hand it to you dude... Looks awesome!!!! I think you've made good choices with modding to compliment the colour, which really make these changes stand out... Keep up the good work! eeyyeee

your best bet is looking on ebay...

Could be down to a damaged wheel thats got worse over time... BBs wheels come available all the time, depending on which ones they are??? Post some pics up and we'll ahve a look...

biggerbigneil, LOL... Whats your Bmw 328sport like... I've always fancied one of them, although my cousin has one which is an auto... He's always complaining about the fuel it drinks.... I had an M3 in that shape and it wasn't that bad....

Yeh!!!! I think I'm convinced..... I've seen a Black Vr forsale on here, looks sweet and at a good price.. Just not to sure about this narow track conversion.....

Maybe.... I used to feel king of the road with teh Vr, once it got later in the Revs, all hell breaks loose... :)

Starting too get somewhere with my G60.. Fully serviced, oil leak done and wheels updated. :D But Why do I still want a VR6???? I've had a couple of them in the past, including conversions done on a Mk2 Golf... Don't get me wrong I do like the G60, but i just feel I want a VR6 again!!! I certainly can't afford 2 of them :cry: I think my problem is I'm used to big engine cars, always owned Cars like M3's, 325's couple of Vr6's, R32, 4Motions etc... I do alot of motorway driving and i do have a heavy foot :twisted: I dont know what to do... ???

I've got an Audi A4 2.5tdi Quattro (180bhp)..... What a car!!!! Beleive me this is rapid, I've upset loads of pertol heads and handles like its on rails... Delivers around 32.9mpg around town and motorways in its 40's.... Not within your budget tho, but just thought i'd boast how good diesels really are these days!!!!
