  1. I had this, I replaced the cam cover gasket about 2 weeks ago & the problem is 100 times better. it's came on once since. It was loosing oil pressure.
  2. not on my Christmas list I'm afraid :?
  3. I'm approx 100mm lowered & wouldn't want to go any lower.
  4. probably a good idea mate. Don't suppose your discs were cheap! last thing you want is to have to replace them again!
  5. A lot of peeps inc myself have had bad experiences with green stuff pads. Might find they will warp your discs within a few thousand miles mate. If you start to develop a bit of a wobble on the steering soon that will be your prob!! Cars looking better all the time though 8)
  6. Check the speedo wire is earthed properly
  7. check them for marking. If they are 3k old, they should look like new. If they have any worrying marks on them problem found.
  8. It doesn't matter who manufactures the mirror or what other car has the same ones, it doesn't effect how they look on your car. I think they look pretty good, much better than std! So that's why
  9. So was it worth it and what other bits did you need... A mate of mine works for Merc and we discussed it a while ago, He said he could get one for around a ton could he get us all one? :D
  10. Cooler air = quicker car
  11. cheers g-man Don't suppose you have any intercoolers on the go at the mo? I should be visiting you very soon to have my charger see 2
  12. not a bad price really! Anyone have a p/n?
  13. Anyone bought of one of these from Mercedes? Go on, shock me! How much are they!?
  14. also, what do you think about this? It's a GTi-R std cooler I haven't got the sizes, but looks like it should fit. What do you reckon?
  15. Not sure, here are the measurements: 2wd: 10 cm high (top to bottom) 60cm long to its furthest opposing points 10cm deep (front to back) 41cm actual core length. It does have a bigger surface area though, and will also be in a better position for cooling, so has to be an improvement over std.
  16. Thanks Mark! PM on the way!
  17. I made up a template last night. The 4x4 cossie (the bigger) one isn't going to fit in front of the rad. My I think I'll buy a 2wd cossie (the smaller) one and use that. They are good coolers, a lot of the RST boys put them on their RS's. If these do fit, it would prove a relatively cheap upgrade for those with a G60, as these coolers are quite common, so don't cost much!
  18. LOL! and I thought there was going to be a ford dig there :) I don't mind having to trim the front pannel a little if need be with the trusty dremel! but need to know if it will touch the rad more than anything.
  19. no, a 4x4 cossie - no ford jokes, they won't make my car go faster!
  20. I'm looking to fit an intercooler that's 66cm long & 12.25cm thick behind the grill, here - (will relocate the horns) (sorry for pic size) Question is, will it fit? Not had time to measure. it's the bigger one. 11.5 cm high (top to bottom) 66cm long to its furthest opposing points 12.25cm deep (front to back) 45.5cm actual core length. Cheers Dan
  21. Saturday 21st, purple corrado with grey leather, in the car park at the back of browns in windsor, M reg I think
  22. Thanks mark, you're a gent! :thumb right: I don't mind sending you some dosh to cover the postage & something for the hassle. 3 x 1 meter lengths would be perfect mate. If you want to keep a meter for yourself as spare, 2 meters would still probably be fine. Let me know if this is ok & I'll get some beer tokens in the post for ya  One more question - where you have joined 2 pipes, what have you used as an insert for the jubilee clips to tighten on 2? Thanks again Dan
