ouch! :shock: proper 5hitter mate :mad: How long you with out her?

I haven't got abs on mine. The mate who I bought my car from says he prefers the non abs on mine to his vr's with, he said it was a lot sharper. It's always nice to know your not going to go skidding in to anyone when you brake hard though. Not had her lock up on me yet (touch wood 8) )

I'd never really been in to my VW's b4 the corrado, well never so much that I would get one. I had my Nova SR first car, then 2 Escort Rs Turbo's & was really only ever had eye's for my ford turbo's. Then just over 2 years ago my mate told me he wanted to sell his Polo G40, so off I went looking at C's with him. We went in a few & nothing really took his fancy, & to be honest at the time I was thinking why sell the G40 for one??? Then he went off to Bournemouth to look at a G60 without me & bought it. When he arrived back I went over for a look & :shock: I was just in love with it. A year passed & I was looking to get something that wouldn't cost so much to run as my turbo (at the time running about 16mpg around town :shock: ) My mate then told me he was going to be selling soon as he could now afford to get himself a really nice vr6 Storm and he'd wanted one since he was young. I jumped at the chance to have it 8)

5hit mate! So sorry to here that. I know how it feels to have someone go straight up the back of your motor. Main thing is your ok. When it happen to me, the guy didn't have insurance!! Those few days after the accident were probably in my life's top 3 most stressful moments (surprised I didn't go grey!)! The fu(ker drove off cos he thought (and was right to think it) I was going to knock 10 bags of 5hite out of him. Lucky for me I found out who he was & made him take out a loan. It's heart breaking to look at the car when it's like that. When you think how much time & money you put in to it, just for some 9rick to go & do that, it make you wonder why you bother!! this is the only decent pic I have of me at work. For a laugh I made a birthday card for a mate as a DVD cover a couple of months back. I'm the one on the right on the front cover & in the top right sqaure on the back. The Corrado even made it on there :D

Regarding this modding storms malarkey: It's not a classic one of a kind Ferrari, it's a Corrado!! It's like saying don't drive it cos you'll put miles on it or you might get it dirty! :roll: The car looks great mate! A real credit to you. Don't put it back to std! Love the mods, very tasteful & defiantly complement the car 8) Get to the shows! you should win a few trophies no problem!

I'm sure that was me but I have a 2L, I recognised your C tho. What colour do you think it is? can't seem to find colour codes but haven't looked that hard... Sometimes it looks black, sometimes it's clearly blue, when sunlight hits it you can see a glitter sort of effect, not that bothered as its a nice colour. I don't think its aqua. :D must be midnight blue mate! There should be something on the log book. The car looked nice & clean. WIll have to have closer look some time.

dark blue, VR6 (i think) on the bath road near the dumb bell yesterday - both gave each other a wave.

I think the title of the thread should be "best looking wheels for the corrado" Lower any C on them rims & you have a real looker 8)
