I have the following bumper: Question is do you think i should put this bumper on or buy a original C bumper or any other suggestions for front bumpers? As mine needs changing, i'm still able to sell this bumper as its brand new not been touched. Only thing about the bumper is i don't have the headlights or the wide wheels yet to compliment the bumper :( (soon i hope :)) Anyhow what do you suggest guys?

Henny from what i am aware, it has had a brand new charger put on in 2002 and in 2003 it was sent off to jabba to get upgraded to R1, since then the car hasn't been driven much, i think its only covered hmmm 3k miles max since 03. Charger should be fine ?? I mean i never owned a g60 supercharged before so i can't really compare it to anything but, i think it does take sometime to spin up in 1st and 2nd, reving about 2-3 while doing 20ish mph in second, but once it hits 3,000 revs approx it jus goes like anything, smooth delivery, all the way to red line. :)

Just what i wanted to know aswell. I have a R1 supercharger done by jabba, but its running the stock pulley. Was wondering how much it would cost to get a smaller pulley such as a 68mm and a chip ? and what sort of gains would i gain? Plus does it shorten the life of the charger? Thanks guys

Hi there guys, i am officially a corrado G60 owner now, car requires some attention. The two main factors are, the handbrake can't be used due to as i have been told by the seller, sticky calipers, also mentioned this is a common fault. Finally i drove the car for 50 odd miles, was lovely but once i got back i drove it and tested it slightly. Once stand still after driving it, the engine still running, i saw loads of smoke coming out from the left side of the bonnet. Found out the coolant had all wizzed out and there was nothing left in there, could it be the expansion tank and the lid which needs changing. As i filled her up with water/anti freeze again it drove fine but then again after just applying some gas it did the same thing. Could it be a air lock or does it need a new expansion tank and lip ? Also just wanted to know regarding the sticky calipers would i require to change the calipers or is it possible to apply grease and that would solve the stickyness? Thanks for your help in advance guys. :)

I had a golf VR6, i know the unit is different in some ways, but when i bought mine it was sweet, it would start up and have hardly no tappety noise. Once the car had runned for a bit the noise would vanish, i was told thats a common thing with a VR6 engine as its large and needs time to warm up etc. I also was told it is nothing to worry about, as once at running temp its smooth as :D... Its like if you've heard with the CTR's they are the same.

Thanks Dub_nut_g60 for the advice, yeh i was wondering that aswell, he mentioned it being "Stage 4 R1 by Jabbasport"... Which i checked on the jabba sport web site and as you said has to be one or the other. Below is a image of the actual charger. http://i11.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/b0/e8/01_1_b.JPG http://i24.ebayimg.com/04/i/06/b3/d3/56_1_b.JPG

Hi there guys, first of all i would like to apologies if i have hit any tender nerves and Thanks to everyone who read my topic and responded :) Just thought i would make a few things clear, i didn't put my foot down on the accelerator, as that was my fellow friend who did. I've owned my fair share of VW's ranging from vr's to g60 turbos and wouldn't be ever venturing into a saxo, corsa etc The reason I asked for advice on a corrado as I've never owned one, but have owned many Golf's.. Also regarding the car, the owner mentioned it could of happened to either me or him, as the oil filter seal had a 10 pence size missing out of the seal. I've offered him to buy a new oil filter and engine oil. We've come to an arrangement and I shall be purchasing it in a day or two. :) Thanks again guys for your time. :) (i will have my Golf 8v Gti + Golf G60 Turbo on sale within a day or so, anyone interested pm me)

Hi there guys, a quick question, went to see a corrado G60 with a Jabba sport R1 stage 4 charger. Basically started the car, after 10 secs my mate floored it, next thing you know had to shut the car off as all the engine oil came bursting out... Any idea's what could of gone wrong ? a pipe burst ? Or the oil filter seal split ? Also any tips what i should look for when buying a corrado G60? Thanks guys ur quick responce would be great! :)

Golf Mk2 G60 Turbo Charged, Can It Be Remapped/Chipped HELP!
young lad replied to young lad's topic in Engine Bay
Thanks Flusted..So your saying Gasflowing n piper cams won't make much of a difference on the 8v engine? -
Hi there guys, i thought it would be best to join this forum as my Golf Mk2 has a engine out a G60 Corrado and instead of having a supercharger it has a Turbonetics T3 turbo.. Also the G60 engine is completly standard, no cams etc etc have been changed. The car flys as it is, very quick but, I am looking for some power gains, i was told if i got it chipped or remapped it would go a little wilder. Any suggestions where i can get this done from, Price, The gains i could expect, any idea's guys?? (From london ) Also would it be a good idea to get the cams changed to like ermm 280 or 300, gas flow etc.. i don't know much about it so if you guys could shine some light would be great. Thanks Shazz
