Right Guys Just had these two new kits dynoed back to back at a local tuner on their rolling road. Firstly I would like to say this is the first time the cars been roaded and I also found out the cars got the wrong chip installed for the injectors (see my post on Dubforce ) hence the erratic dyno plot  Anyway the point of the dyno session was to compare this new twin inlet kit with the cars standard induction set up. Please bear in mind the cars not running right (over fueling ! correct chip on its way) the TWIN INLET kit still gave solid gains of 5-7 BHP and similar gains in torque :D :D The Twin Inlet Box gave a peak of 199.1 BHP and 194.1 BHP for the std air box and 203.1 Lbft and 197.2 Lbft of torque respectively (and with a well used panel filter, I know I should have used new ! !). The twin cones gave 201.4 BHP and 203.6 Lbft of torque compared to the std air box figuers above, (The same ambiant outside air temp was recorded for all runs). I would hopefully expect a more noticable differnce on a car that was running correctly and or on a car with more engine mods than mine. (68mm pulley, Bastuck exhaust and Twin Inlet kit). I know people wanted to see proof of any gains (so did I !) and I'm sure there's more to come on a well set up motor  The twin air box set up is now available on our site with FREE delivery to forum members 8) , the cone version to follow shortly. http://www.swgmotorsport.com Steve

We can do the hoses in black (stock), blue and red but the blue and red hoses will be non stock items and may take a little longer on delivery. Cheers

Now available online guys  Free delivery to forum members :-P http://www.swgmotorsport.com Any questions let me know Steve

The twin cone version is not available yet , we are in the process of sorting out a heat shield for it. When this is done I'll let you know :) The twin inlet is designed to fit to any Golf, Rallye or Corrado G60, its a simple bolt on replacement for the original intake system.

Thanks Walesy My charger is now well and truly run in  ( especially after the 650 mile round trip to inters) ! I must say the G is now pullin like a cheap hooker !!! :-P (I'll try to get the car on the rollers and get some figures as soon as poss !). P.S The twin inlet kits are available now if anyones interested ! Steve

Just a thought ! If anyones interested I'm in the process of developing a cold air feed for the Corrado ! (already finished for the Mk2 Golf) I'm just finishing off the tooling for an ABS duct that fits in the driverside lower 90mm spoiler on the Rado. This duct then connects to a 3" flexible plastic pipe that attaches to another duct that bolts in place of the carbon canister. This set up enables the maximum amount of cold air into the engine bay, Its also suitable for feeding a cone filter or for suppling cold air to a drilled air box (without pressurising the box). I'll post some pics up when its finished. :)

Has anyone fitted an 02j gearbox into a G60 , I've been offered one cheap and just wandered what's involved , and if its worthwhile ?

Food for thought :D

I've designed a cold air feed duct specifically for the deep Corrado front spoiler (no room in the bumper to pass a decent sized pipe through ! ) to do exactly this job ! this will be available as a complete kit , duct, pipe, fittings etc and be suitable for all models. I'll keep everone posted on when they will be available (hopefully not too long).
