DUB

Yet again on opening the bonnet to my girl {was looking at the Alternator} out of the corner of my eye, i could see a drip {hose that goes in to the front of the engine which comes from rad} small drip on idle hate to think what its like when i'm drivin! replaced cack std hose clip with some cool 16mm wide jubilee clip's that i obtained from work,only to find its coming from the gasket/joint to the engine > also happening in lesser degree on the same kind of joint on the right hand side of the engine, just spoke to a parts kidd at GSF when i went down but he didn't have a clue what the gaskets or jionts were called let alone knowing if they stocked them, can anyone help? am getting worried what i'll find when i next open the bonnet :oops:

Yeah right, so whats the outcome boyz - whats the remedy a new VW bracket and what mount to go with ?{Recomendatios wanted} as i dont want to find i have this problem when i get time to look?????????? your help is needed and appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :notworthy:

YEAH, Just had a quick look {90} spoke to ANDY {Bristol branch GSF} he's gunna get me one in for monday for £115 + VAT, anyone know any better one's or any cheaper? :help:

Morning all, came to the conclusion that my alternator is screwed, so looked on the GSF site to find thiers loads of different type 60/70/90AMP's which is best ? which one is for my G60 ? could i put the best/biggest {90Amp} one on and get better preformance from my new silver top BOSCH battery? cheers for the help peeps 8)

Oh the other thing i was looking at out my office window, {I work in between maindealer AUDI and maindealer VW Bristol} was those TT wing mirrors those little blitters look like they'll just drop straight on - anyone tried it or know any different?

Yeah, but if thier 17's it'll work though right? only f-in problem is i'll have to get the old 4-stud hubs on my G60 spaced/adapted to hold the 5-stud! yes? any ideas bruv?

:twisted: I was sat in yet more traffic the other day, dirty 03 plate BMW sat on the other side 330ci me thinks,anyway twas looking at the rim's :shock: think they were 18's i think, which are a bit to big? i'm currently sat on 17's and thier a bit touch and go some times when landing! but those dam BMW split/multi spoke rim's look sweet whats recon can it be done with spacers/addaptors? as i might be able to get a set cheep ish, anyone got any cool tips or cheeky advice for fettling my Rado? :D

na the one's i've got have got ridges in, i work in advertising and one of the sign riters is havin a look at what he could do for me, but i wondered if there was any where i could get the originals {apart from vw} and i dont know if they'd have them anyway would they?

Whats on Dave, you busy? i've had a few f-ing problems the weekend, got her through an MOT which made my day {only a new front tyre needed} "as i told the tester i don't know how that could of happened!!!!!!!!" and then just as i thought all was cool the bitch wouldn't start Power drain some where {any ideas?} and then yesterday oil light/buzzer came on, piss clean off with it but then i went up the pub had some dinner and a couple of pints walked out to the car and now she's fine again oil light/buzzers gone - starts first time, must have been time of the month for her, my misses said it was cause she was in the car bless her she actually thinks the car likes her more than me ha ha ha ha keep it real mate {any tips?}

Dude I'm flat out at work to be honest, and from my window i can see my 92 plate/black/g60 and all i want to do is get out of here, i couldn't even go out at lunch and have a play with the engine cause its pissin down with rain, and the more and more i look at it i want to buy things for it,tis under my skin now 'dublife' and all that, yeah spose i am new to the net ,this place any way, its really cool though,thanks for your help, hope to see you on the roads
