  3. Howdy folks, Just throwing one out there.... What do you reckon it's worth today... in 5 years...... in 10 years........ if kept in mint condition as is now?? I know these are becoming rare in low mileage/original form... Spec: 1996 Corrado VR6 (Blue) 70K FSH 1 owner Cream interior Heather leather recaro electric seats Matching tyres x4 and refurbished speedlines 15s Standard factory condition except for wiper upgrade and clear side indicators Very good condition and drives as it should What do you think?
  4. Hello all, I was having a routine look under the VR and noticed an unconnected wire. I've traced it back and it seems to be coming from the batterty area. I've attached a pic. The loose wire is near the gearbox. Does anyone know where this should be connected? Your help is much appreciated
  5. Hello all, Can anyone verify whether these are a good buy for a Corrado VR6 (1994) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230748458278?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Thanks

  7. Hello folks, Title say it all really... What are better suited for a Corrado VR6 and how much 'should' I be paying for mint examples?? (16" with branded tyres and wider 9" rears) Thanks
  8. Hello all, I'm after a replacement back box as an interim measure. I have seen this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-CORRADO-LUPO-PASSAT-UNIVERSAL-BACK-BOX-EXHAUST-47-/180792126091?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a180cea8b on e-bay. Please can you share your views on a back box like this as a short term replacement?
  9. Cool. Will give it a shot later this week and see what happens.
  10. Will I need to switch the main alarm siren unit off before I disconnect the battery?
  11. Hello all, I have noticed that the red LED located next to my headlight switch is constantly staying on (instead of coming on and off when the alarm is active). My two-buttom fob will not unlock the central locking system nor disarm the alarm (Laserline 988) when the LED is constantly on. Does anyone have any technical knowhow as to why this is happening?
  12. resurrection is a good thing right ? Drivers side or passenger? I'm tempted to disconnect the battery and see if that does anything...
  13. Hello people, I'm beginning to have issues with my laserline 988 alarm. It started when I had to replace the main car battery. Fobs worked OK for a day or two, then stopped working all together. Please can someone tell me where I can find the 'alarm control box' please? (Is it the main unit located on the back wall of the engine bay??)

  17. When I changed mine a couple of months ago, i didn't need to bend the screwdriver. Try and look for a very thin star scredriver approx 5", have a torch of some kind wiht you, as it will make takign the screw out a lot easier. I managed to do it wihtout unplugging any wire connectors. Remember... thin screw driver, not a the chunky ones Good luck :)
