FK and Venom motorsport porker wheel adaptors, does anyone know what the difference is? One set cost £90 and the other nearly £200, I dont mind buying the FKs if there is a good reason, but dont want to throw money down the drain :?
-
After playing with that Dubmodder website, I am gonna go for the 8" D90s, but mirror polished, including metal centre caps (gonna have a go at doing them myself). Also found out a carbon bonnet would look 8) can you get them?
-

Cheers for the photoshop herisites and for the comments guys, think I am gonna go with the 8" all round D90s, refurbed as per the pic with 195/45/16s 8) Will post pics in next couple of weeks when refurbed and fitted  S.

I should have Walesy prosecuted for pot noodling my Rado
-
I have only just managed to get rid of "the stain" from that piccie
-
I have had it just over a month  I was quite lucky, as I had a Golf G60, that "donated" the FMIC, Rad etc  The other bits, I will have to thank Darren and Rob at G-Werks, but they dont need anymore advertising, or I will never be able to speak to them
-
I have absolutely no patience Henny, I had an idea of what needed to be done, so it had to be done  Piccies will be coming when the paint is sorted next week, drivers wing is currently a different colour to the rest of the car and I would rather it looks A1 before I post piccies  Will take some engine bay and interior pics at the weekend though. There will also be a special head going on there with some trick bits from the states, that wont be for about a month though :norty:, I hate waiting

Hello chaps, Just thought I would introduce myself as the new owner of Walesys old yellow G60 (should of done it sooner really  ). Just to get things up to speed, since I bought it, it has had a few mods done to it, starting with G-Werks exhaust, de-cat and oil cooler, SNS chip before even being collected 8) . Then last week, Golf G60 FMIC, Rad, fan and associated pipework was fitted, along with a charge temp gauge (will get pics up, only cost £26 off fleabay and looks factory  ), boost and oil pressure gauges were fitted in a pillar pod. Twin inlet airbox has now been fitted, with polished intake pipe. Alternator, ISV, Rocker cover have also now been polished and all wires have been wrapped in yellow insulation tape, bay is looking good  Tomorrow car goes off again to have Schrick 268 cam, solid G-Werks front engine mount, electric fan fitted to oil cooler, ported and polished throttle body, 68mm toothed pulley kit, rebuilt G60 box with VR 1st, 2nd and 5th, VR clutch. Exterior, is now slammed on FKs with 15" Mugen motorsport split rims and Yoko rubber. Interior, both front seats replaced with non ripped, good bolster same trim items, momo wheel and SNS gear knob, DDI dials with chrome surrounds. Then goes off next week to have wings, bonnet, front bumper and debadged grill with grill spoiler sprayed. Wings will have the indicators removed and a sprinter vent welded into the drivers side to feed cold air to the air box. Thats it really, just wanted to say hi and let peeps know about developments (if they are interested :? ) and hope to see some of you at some of the meets in coming months. Pics will be following soon :D

Standard G60 Intercooler - how the hell does it come out?
yellowg60 replied to yellowg60's topic in Engine Bay
Golf G60 intercooler, rad, fan, pipework and a charge temp gauge now installed, pics to follow. Charge temps are now within 5 degrees of ambient, so intercooler is definately doing its job! Thanks for the help chaps :thumbleft: . -

How do I get to these evil 10mm bolts please, cant see a way to get at em? -
Hello, Just trying to swop over my intercoolers (Corrado to Golf set up) and I have undone the brackets that hold the original rado intercooler in place, but it still wont come out :? Can anybody shed any light on what is holding it in.............please  Cheers, Simon.

Mine is being fitted on Wednesday and RRd on Sat, I will post results up here. Running SNS Chip, G-Werks exhaust, 68mm toothed pulley kit and a few other goodies  Will be well happy if it gives 7ish bhp extra!

No mate there are two longish straps with a metal clip thing that is secured by velcro on each side, but they dont seem to fit anywhere, well anywhere obvious anyways, maybe its the heat
-
Cheers bricktop, but the velcro dont shut properly when you put in any of them :? I have put it in the bottom holes and taped it in place, seems to be ok, but its a bit of a bodge tbh, considering it cost 70 quid, thought it would fit A1?
-
Hello, I have just bought an autobra for my G60, I have gone to fit it, but there is a small strap with a metal clip and velcro on each side, but I cant see where it clips into the bonnet, am I being stoopid  ? Has any body else got one, a pic would be great of where the clip goes if possible? Cheers, S.
-
Morning chaps, Just got some alloys that will be going on with some coilies in the next week or so, I am thinking of running 15mm spacers at the back and 10mm at the front. Does anyone know if that would cause any rubbage issues? Cheers fellas, S.

Removing Golf G60 Intercooler, rad, boost and water pipes
yellowg60 replied to yellowg60's topic in Engine Bay
Cheers again Henny, just post it on ED38 for the hat trick  -
Hello, Does anyone know what exactly I need to remove from my Golf G60 with regards to Intercooler, rad, boost pipe run and water pipes, to enable me to fit em to my corrado? Any pics and info would be much appreciated. Cheers in advance. Simon.

Then again, I really like the look of this?

Just about to get the front end of mine resprayed and was thinking of having the front bumper flushed, but I am thinking at the moment, that it looks a bit odd, although I will probably change my mind a few times before I actually make a decision  The front of Furk'z car does look sweet, clean lines and a german plate, cant go far wrong with that IMHO. I also think that flushed bumpers look a lot better on darker coloured cars for some reason?
