Rads from German & Swedish are quite good too and pretty resonably priced

checked all the air lines not one leak still got same problem cut out on me today got stuck in a bit of traffic took at least 4 attempts to start her again but stunk of fuel every now and then

OK BUD WILL TAKE YOUR ADVICE AND WILL GIVE IT LOOK OVER CANT DO MUCH AT THE MO POURING WITH RAIN BUT CHEERS BIG TIME FOR YOUR INFO APPRECIATE IT

my raddo isnt missfireing like yours mine is just going mental on the revs when she gets warm but she does break down at 3000 revs if i apply to much trouble but i do think its the coil

soz I didnt get back yesterday I cant c how that is going to help neither.why dont you call out a mobile tuner and run a diagnostic on it especially if your emissions are high down here in pompey one would set u back about £40 give it a try not very good garage u went to then??????

no I meant I had the problem of loss of water at one point went through the whole process of changing everything as the the chap before and it came down to my heater exchange got a bigger problem with mine that loss of water cant get my head round it

YES it took me 4 hours to put my wheels on as you can see the car is a little hard to jack up being only 5inches off the road with a body kit on and neon bulbs underneath

they were changed in 2004 on mileage of 136k

Yep changed lifter one in the boot and the one on wheel arch including all fuel lines

I know this might sound a little daft but it does remind me of my old Mark 5 Cortina (showing my age now) when the automatic choke used to stick on the old v carbs it used to do the same thing

where can I get a manual for my raddo using a Golf one at the moment but it can only help so much

170 k total 35k on full rebuild nothing left on the car old really

It took me about a week just to change the fuel side of things it took me 4 hours to put my alloys on it took 3 days to change a poxy wheel bearing can anyone HELP on fuel pressure testing ?????????????????

Mine seems to be doing it all the bloody time getting on my TITS!!!!!! but at logger heads with it she always bites me in the asse some where

she mainly does it when her temperature has reached normal but if I am stuck in traffic then she starts to go a little insane once I have switched her off for a while to cool down she is ok again for a while also she breaks down at 3000 rpms even though I have put in a new coil cant be ecu as thats new from vw (ouch!!!!) put in new rad, heater exchanger, thermostat, cant be exhaust sensor got stainless all the way through so is manifold
