Nightmare mate, same happened with my G60 a few years/Rados ago, I bought a new charger and sold the car right away, didn't loose any money fortunately. He was completely overhauled at the company SLS and edited RS2, also a double belt was installed to reduce the risk of damage to charger body minimieren.Das glass bead is blasted. Bills are included. Versnd only within Germany. Because private sale, no warranty.

Its actually not that quiet and there is a noticeable difference now without the insulation

Yep, a guy on ED38 said that as well, he thought it was just a case of swapping the casing over, I may have a look at it, was just trying to get an original before mucking about with it, annoying thing is, there were two on Ebay.de just a few weeks ago, didn't know the switch was pooped then

God damn it, now I'm torn :bonk: when I got it all cleaned up I thought it looked pretty good as is, will the heat from the engine affect my bonnet paint on the outside :scratch:

Well, another job I wasn't looking forward to... removing the bonnet insulation Started last night around 9pm, was all off and clean by 9.40 :smug: Scraped most of the crap of first, then gave the remainder 3 good soaks of white spirit, again scraped off the bulk of the adhesive, then some more spirit on a cloth to get the last of the scummy film, clean up with a dry cloth. Still got to wash it down with some car shampoo before sticking the new GB Insulation back on, just waiting for some spray adhesive arriving Dry scrape White spirit and scrape Finished off

Pretty sure Struans (Bigtartanjudge)is done
