hi mate ok Step 1 - measure the height at the moment between the centre of the wheel and the arch and work out how much lower you want it. Step 2 - loosen wheel bolts, then jack up car and take front wheel off. Step 3 - you will see the spring sitting on a big nut with groves in, which is on thread, this is the strut. Step 4 - you will either have two of the big nuts with groves on, or only one with an allen bolt in, acting as a grub screw (like on an after market gear knob, this stops the bolt from spinning making the car higher or lower) Step 5 - either loosen the allen grub screw, or loosen the bottom nut with a C spanner. Step 6 - measure from the base of the thread on the strut to the top of the nut where the spring is sitting on. Step 7 - undo the nut with the C spanner till the top of it is 10mm lower than where it was, do up grub screw, or tighten up the second nut against the one you adjusted. Step 8 - put wheel back on and do the other side the same way.

yep :D

i used to time my cars with a stopwatch and my punto would do in around 5.5 secs lol i have always used a rule of add about 1.5 - 2secs on to the time you get. -
yeah got them on, well low at the moment lol, will get pics tomorrow as the car is having an oil change today and they are checking for boost leaks etc.
-
has anyone got a pic of where you plumb the vac hose into? Thanks
-
put avo coilovers on at the weekend, and is a well hard ride, think im gonna have to soften them up abit. had German/Swedish springs on before, on the standard dampers, was a nice ride.
-
cheers, do they have a URL??
-
idle seems ok then, just need to get the charger rebuilt and new boost pipes
-
has anyone got any pics/links or help how to do this? Thanks.

You should now see 84-104 readings fluctuating with idle. Anything higher than 104 is not right (vacuum leak). Much less than 84 is probably too much timing advance. Go run your car!!! 3rd and 4th gear to REDLINE. Carefully note the highest #'s you've got. A pullied charger should not make less than 11.6psi, and even so, thats weak. A Stock charger should make ~~11psi in perfect shape! USA EURO Hg(#'s of boost/vacuum) Comments 15 200 -23.7 55 400 -17.8 90 600 -11.9 127 800 -5.9 148 1000 0 (Atmosphere- ala no boost, charger is bypassed) 172 1200 2.9 psi (Your charger is dead or big boost leak) 192 1400 5.8 psi (Your charger is about dead or big boost leak) 211 1600 8.7 psi (Your charger needs new apex strips or big boost leak) 228 1800 11.6 psi (Great for stock pulley, Probably needs new apex strips if 68mm pulley) 242 2000 14.5 psi (Great for 68mm pulley on stock charger) 255 2200 17.4 psi (Great for 68mm pulley on heavily ported charger, hold on to your ass fast!!) on tickover mine idles at around 400-500 not 84-104 so still have a big leak? top peak so far has been around 1500, so still got a big boost leak, but car does feel like its going well lol. dont think my tape on the boost pipe is doing alot.
