Exhaust!!!!!! so many but which ones the best??????
wilson replied to Toady1979's topic in General Car Chat
The exhaust is knocking on something near the back over bumps, but as I only picked up the car friday night I haven't looked at it yet, I assumed it was a loose or missing mount. -
Quickest car you've been in, owned and most interesting....
wilson replied to NickVR6's topic in General Car Chat
Fastest car I've been in would be Mike Rainbirds old sierra Saph cossie, tuned to 500 and something bhp, I think it was 580 ish but cant remember exactly, we got to 164mph in the wet, and still had alot more to go, but it was how fast it got there that amazed me, it was an animal. I was taken for a spin in an Aston Martin Vanquish, that was impressive, but cant remember speeds etc. Fastest car I've owned was my E36 M3, I only ever got it to 150mph, but it was still pulling very hard. I would still have it if I could afford to run and maintain it, nowadays its all about consumption and maintenance costs for me. Wilson -

mines a 16v and it has a scorpion system with an oval pipe that fits the cut out in the back bumper perfectly. before I bought the car I thought I would change it back to standard, because I dont like loud exhausts, but its not to bad so think I'll keep it. I'm quite impressed with how quiet it is, although it is quite a deep note, its not loud. -
Thanks guys, will do a search. From Ipswich Suffolk mate Will give it a tidy today and try and get some pics up Cheers Wilson

Hey all, just bought my first corrado last night, i'm thinkin it was a right bargain. its 1.8 16v 1990, 97k, lots history, all mots, mot'd till june 07, and few months tax.. it cost me £750 Drives nice and smooth and straight, but a little tatty round the edges, needs a real good clean and interior is quite tatty and dirty. but still it can be cleaned and is nice drive so I'm real impressed. Gonna give it a service now and try and get some shine on the paint. Few things the active spoiler doesn't move ? the MFA doesn't work? the adj steering column has a small bit of up down play? Is any of this common faults, I haven't looked yet, but if these are common faults how should I go about fixing them ? Thanks Wilson
